I am starting to see why there’s a such a love for Leaders masks. I’ve been sampling a variety of different types of masks in varying price points – cotton sheet masks to hydrogels, cheap $1 masks to $10+ masks. The Leaders ones I’ve sampled thus far have always been very hydrating and do not drip or slip down my neck. I left this mask on for 30 minutes and the mask never dried out. There was a lot of essence on my face that needed to be patted in. There is enough product for you to do a pop a plain Daiso sheet mask in for 2nd round of masking or apply the essence directly onto your skin for extra moisture through the week. Overall, the effect I saw immediately after use was a slightly smoother look to my skin. My skin felt slightly tighter and very hydrated. I used the extra essence the next day and it kept my skin hydrated through a complete work day stuck in the office. Usually my skin dries out by the afternoon, so this is impressive.
The packaging of this mask doesn’t rip open completely – it tears easily at the “rip here” area , but when you rip across the packaging, it always doesn’t tear off at the end. As usual, I would squeeze the mask package gently with the hand holding the package as I pull the mask out. This mask is set between two pieces of plastic/paper films. After you unfold the mask, you take one side off and place the gel side on your face. Then you take the other plastic film off. I still struggle with getting gel masks on my face. It’s never easy for me, don’t ask why. These gel masks aren’t very stiff or hard as they are supposed to really mold to your face shape. This makes it a little hard if you want to adjust the mask once you’ve put it on your face. I accidently ripped part of this gel mask in doing so. I guess I don’t have a delicate hand on the finer things.
The price is not the lowest for masks (at around $5 each), but not the highest either – I saw an Amazon listing for $44.99/10 pieces. I actually found this one at Marshalls, so I will need to report back with the actual price I paid. I may not be able to afford to use one of these weekly, but it gives an amazing hydrating boost to you skin.
