I’ve had this for quite some time in my collection and its a top favorite!!
On me its a creamy vanilla with hints of nectarine, orchid & freesia..its blends together so beautifully.
Sillage & longevity are both moderate for me.

My initial reaction was that this is a fizzy floral, fresh and clean. It developed later into peppery overtones, still with the all inclusive floral scent. It’s clean and fresh, almost waxy to me. I didn’t get any of the fruits listed or the sandlewood, musk or vanilla. Fancy Girl doesn’t remind me of Simpson’s other “Fancy” line, Fancy, Fancy Love or Fancy Nights at all. This one seems to be going in a completely different direction, or at least that’s how it reacts with my chemistry. It sits close to the skin and two sprays lasted three hours. Would be good for daytime spring and summer.

I love Jessica’s fragrances, and this is no exception. Fancy Girl (2014) is the latest in her 5-part Fancy series (Fancy, Fancy Love, Fancy Nights, I Fancy You, Fancy Girl).
Fancy Girl smells like a sunny citrus-floral-vanilla to me, even though the topnotes don’t exactly contain citrus, which surprises me. Similar to Fancy Love (peachy-vanilla), but fresher & cleaner, with a lemony-seeming topnote (to my nose), light florals, and a delicious vanilla base.
Released in 2014, here are notes, per parfumo.net:
Top Notes – Pear, Raspberry, Nectarine
Heart Notes – Cyclamen, Freesia, Orchid
Base Notes – Amber, Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla
Original Fancy is a wonderful caramel-vanilla, and the 4 flankers have also been excellent IMHO. #2 Fancy Love is a smooth peachy-vanilla and my favorite Fancy. #3 boho-ish Fancy Nights is similar to original Prada (amber) and has gotten me compliments. Although also very nice, I didn’t like #4 “I Fancy You” as much, because it’s the “clean & fresh” type (the Romance type, not my fave). #5 Fancy Girl makes a nice addition to the series as a fresher, more citrusy-feel, lighter vanilla perfume.
I also like her Vintage Bloom, (a light soft fruity-floral on the order of MJ Dot), and also her latest release Jessica Signature, which is a light sweet fresh floral-vanilla. Jessica gets it right every time, for my tastes. Her perfumes are always sensuous, nicely done, and her apparent love for soft vanilla-based perfumes matches my own.
Fancy Girl is one of her best fragrances for heading into hot summer days. I feel the fresh, sunshiney-vanilla Fancy Girl will work well in warmer weather — it’s a good summer gourmand — but it’s good for any time of year, really.
