Awful pigmentation, shades are really hard to work with and a nightmare to blend.I like subtle makeup, but this was unworkable. The price was nice, but the performance is so poor I don’t think it’s worth it. A shame, as it looked like a nice cool toned neutral palette before I tried using it.

YES YES YES.
I love this pallete. The colours are gorgeous and shimmery, the perfect mix of taupes and browns and nudes. They’re a little chalky, but it’s okay because they’re still good, too. I love nude colours and I also got the “All About Nudes” one too. So perfect. The packaging is simple and clear and I actually really like it.

So I bought this in the sale for two euros and I really like this little, cheap, plastic palet.
I usually use the dark Grey as an eyeliner, medium Grey on my eyelid and the light pink our beige as an highlighter.
It is not a very chocolat coloured palet, it is more Grey/Brown.
But the colours are more pigmented and flattering on my eyes Then my bourjois palet
I wear it on long work shifts 9+ hours and the stayingpower without a primer is perfect.
I also receive a lot of compliments about my eyes with this colour combination.

I love Essence’s other little palette All about a sunrise, so I was very curious about this one. It contains 4 grey-brownish colours and 2 highlighters which are fairly neutral. The eyeshadows are again very soft and easy to apply, but the pigmentation is a lot less than with the Sunrise one. Also, the colours are not really like chocolate..? As mentioned earlier, it’s all grey/brown, starting with more grey-brown and ending with brown-grey and two colours somewhat in between. The added photo with swatches is coming across as warmer than in reality. When applied the colours really blend in together, you can hardly see any difference, as seen on the swatches, which is a shame. Still, it’s a nice little palette for having in your make-up bag, and as it’s pretty neutral you can combine it with everything.
