This is one of my favorite mask powder.
Mustika Ratu is one of a traditional & famous brand in Indonesia.
it’s cheap and easy to get, you can buy this in every convenient store in Indonesia.
It’s brightening my face and i feel fresh after using it.
You just mix the mask powder with rose water and apply to your face. It’s quite convenient for me for a natural skin care. I use it every once a month.
the smell is not a flower smell of course, it’s like java’s herbal medicine smell. Maybe because there’s no fragrance in it. But it’s not annoying for me.
the packaging is in sachet. it’s not a problem if you have a rubber band.

This is my HG mask. I’ve been using this mask on and off since I was in high school, about 15 years ago. This mask is produced by Mustika Ratu, an Indonesian company that offers traditional Indonesian herbal skincare, body, hair and cosmetics products. You can find this mask in any supermarket in Indonesia, and I’ve seen it in some Asian stores in Australia and in some supermarkets in Malaysia and Singapore. The mask is really cheap, but it really works. It is sold in sachets and it’s in a powder form. Pour a bit of the powder on a small bowl, mix it with a bit of water, and apply. Wait for 5-10 minutes and rinse it off. My skin would be really clean, feel so soft, look bright and glowy after using this mask. I can say the result is slightly better than aspirin mask (which I also love) and lasts a bit longer. The mask contain bengkoang roots which are said to have whitening properties. I don’t think the mask will actually lighten the skin, but it works really well in brightening my skin and helping fade some pimple marks and pigmentation. The mask is fragrance free I think, but there is a faint smell of bengkoang roots and herbs which I like. Oh, there is also a cream version of this mask, sold in tubes, but for me it doesn’t work as well as the powder version.
