*edit:- I have decided that I like this product more than I originally thought. It’s gentle, but still fairly effective. I love the scent and the cooling effect, and I don’t worry about smearing it all over my neck, chest, shoulders and back. No adverse reactions, which is super for me!!!

Been trying to find an affordable scrub since the Target local to me no longer carries my favorite Boots/No 7 mask/scrub. I do like the Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar one, so when I ran out of that one (and sadly, my local Ulta does not carry Freeman masks), and my Walmart was out of the Charcoal/Black Sugar one, I picked up the trial size one of this Diamond one.
First off, I will talk about the scent, as that is what I first notice. Not a bad or overwhelming scent, but it is definitely scented. So if you do not like scents, this probably would not be for you. To me, it seems like a grapefruit scent. Not strong, but again, it is definitely there. Personally I actually kind of like the scent, it feels kind of like a fresh scent to me. But a pleasant smelling scrub does not really matter so much as how well it does or does not perform…Soo…
Performance-wise, this just didn’t do that good of a job. My skin did not feel really clean after using this, and that was after I used this with my (current) usual mild Olay cleanser, and also on a day that I was not wearing makeup. And yet it somehow made my skin feel a little dry. Not very clean but dry—–Not a pleasant thing to feel!!!! LOL.. But my skin did feel soft after using this, so there is that. Oh and it also made my skin a little itchy afterward, so if you’ve got sensitive skin, that might be a red flag…
Overall just not that impressed with this. The search for my new holy grail scrub continues…*sigh*….
