These muslin cloths are really good for gentle exfoliation whether you use them with the Eve Lom cleanser or another more affordable cleanser. They are nice and thin but strong. They are a little pricey at $18.00 dollars for a pack of three cloths, but they’ll last for a long time. I throw mine in the washing machine with the towels and they wash up fine. Just don’t put them in the dryer. They shrink big time!

Please do not buy these! The only good thing is the Eve Lom logo and plastic bag!! It is a baby diper no kidding! Ema Hardie’s are worth the money such a quality and so soft! These are garbage regret spending my money on them wish I had purchased anther Emma Hardie washcloth set they are beautiful!

While these clothes are great for cleansing they are not well made. The over lock stitching or whatever that is called to hold the 2 layers together ripped off on first use and that’s because the cloth was wet and heavier on 1 side. The cloth is still ok to use, just annoying to have it fall apart so soon.
They are $28 🙁

I love these cloths and do enjoy using them on my face. I ordered linen spa towels from a massage and beauty supply site. The towels are large like dish towels and I cut them to make my own linen face cloths. Everyone I have given them to loves them. I think I paid $9.99 for six of them which is a better for me since I will always have clean linen face cloths to use.

I really like these. They are soft and textured. They gently exfoliate, and are easy to use and rinse. And they work nicely with the Eve Lom Cleanser. 🙂

I just started using these. So far so good. Very soft and gentle. I just wring out and hang on my towel bar. I use it with Fresh Soy wash in mornings, and after make up removal with Clarisonic at night. Other than expense, no complaints. I’m sure it’s much better for my face than a rough washcloth. So far I’ve washed it once on gentle cycle in warm water. Turned out fine.

I got one of these with a sample of cleanser from Sephora. Can’t say much about the price since I don’t know how much they are but I’m sure they are somewhat pricey. The product is great, thought. I have very oily, acne-prone skin that seems to do better with exfoliation. This cloth is soft, yet just abrasive enough to feel like it is cleaning my skin. Didn’t know soft and abrasive could occur with the same product but it does. I would buy another one of these. I will use this one until it starts to get worn out and see how I feel. So far, so good!

I usually use the Neutrogena wipes but I saw these on sale and bought these instead. That’s where I went wrong. After I used them I felt a burning sensation but ignored it. I woke up the next morning with swollen red eyes which eventually began to flake and my face became so dry! It took about a little over a week for my face to recover. Just don’t buy it.

I’m not sure if they’re getting rid of these wipes at Shoppers… They’re always out of stock everywhere I go. Anyway – I started using these wipes 3 years ago after looking for face wipes to take off makeup that weren’t like $10 for a small package. I saw these on sale at shoppers (the big package in the box, never bought the travel size small packages like the picture on this category) and was blown away by how good they were at removing all of my makeup (I always wash my face after though) and not burning my face or eyes or leaving my face feeling messy and greasy should I not wash my face immediately after using. I continued buying them for years, however in the last year they have went down in quality by far… The cloth itself feels a lot cheaper and the product they are soaked in doesn’t seem the same, and the wipes in the packages are always sort of dry. I bought even though I was disappointed with that because well they still worked. Anyway, now I can hardly find them in stores 🙁 hopefully I can find some online or in Europe when I go. And hopefully they’ll be better quality.

I was recommended these by a makeup artist, and I used to use these cloths everyday to remove my (waterproof) makeup for several years. They were great at taking almost all of my makeup off and were very inexpensive for the quality.
However, about two months ago, (coinciding with the start of a new package of wipes, I now realize,) my eye became very swollen almost overnight and the skin around it started flaking off, which looked as terrible as it sounds, so I stopped using all makeup products for about a month and switched to Nivea’s sensitive skin makeup remover wipes.
Once my eye went back to normal, I started using my full makeup regime again no problem, but once I ran out of the Nivea wipes, I started using the Balea wipes again because I didn’t think they were the cause of the swelling. Huge mistake!!! I woke up with both of my eyes completely swelled shut this time! So no way will I be using these again. And reading through the reviews, it seems like I’m not the only one this has happened to. Such a shame, because this product used to be so awesome.

I’ve been using these for a few months because they’re easy and inexpensive (especially if you buy the refills). The package says you can use them as an eye makeup remover, a cleanser and a toner. If I’m wearing light makeup, I’ll usually use them for all three of those things. If I’m wearing heavy makeup, I’ll use the cloths to just remove the eye makeup and then use a cleanser to get the rest off. I love the fact that they’re no mess and ready to go.

When I wiped my face with these, it stung, so I decided to look at the ingredients (which is what I should do before purchasing anything) and found out that these wipes have a lot of alcohol in them. I like the packaging, but the texture is kind of rough and the alcohol really dried out my skin. I love the idea of a make up remover/cleansing wipe but these will not do for me.

all i can say is that this product is horrible!! i have good skin . not oily , hardly break out and never usually gets dry. i dont have any allergy’s at all either. i was excited to try these and i wanted to like them so bad . i used them twice and i was getting a bit of a burning feeling from them , thought it wasnt a big deal so i continued to use them for a third time and then thats when my face completely blew up. Redness around eyes ,blotchy and alot of dryness on my cheeks and on and around my lips. i have never seen my face in such a state . everyone i come in contact with thinks i got into a fight . so unless you wanna look like rocky i wouldnt take the chance on this product.

Simply put: I love this product! I wanted to start using cleansing cloths instead of liquid make up removers for convenience (especially when I went away) so I saw these on sale and decided to give them a try. I actually bought the value-pack with two packages and I have no regrets; you get a much better deal. They work extremely well in removing make up, the smell is nice and my skin feels smooth afterwards (even more so if I take a shower)! As a bonus, I found it actually helped with pimples I had!!
It’s great for if you’re going away and don’t want to worry about liquid products spilling. The re-sealing is pretty good but it did leak a little once. The only thing I would say is as I neared the end of the package I found some of the cloths were drying out, but this could just be my mistake.

Very scratchy and take a long time to remove all your makeup. Got them for a good deal though.

I love these wipes! I received these as a gift in the package of two. They are very gentle on my skin, and remove my makeup without too much effort on my part. They are dry but I actually like that, it doesn’t leave any moisture on my face like some others do. The cloth itself is really soft and a really nice size. A great product for someone who prefers gentle cloths!

These wipes are horrible for removing eye makeup! I got them as “freebie” with my Marcelle Climatik SPF lotion (yet to try the lotion). I have used the wipes for three nights now to give them a fair chance. I have to dip them in Ponds cold cream to remove my eye makeup because it doesn’t budge with the wipes alone. They are dry and rough feeling and I have noticed that my face is drier too. They are just awful and I will not be using them anymore. I will stick with my Neutrogena makeup remover wipes. I highly recommend them!

I don’t know if I just got a bad package, but these are very dry. Because they’re so dry, you really have to scrub at your face to get your makeup off, which is obviously not great for your skin. AND even with scrubbing, I find all the makeup won’t come off. Packaging is nothing special. Would not repurchase.

Well, the cloths eventually DO work, but if you’re wearing makeup that’s tough to come off, you kind of have to scrub, which is not really something i enjoy doing on my face, in delicate areas such as my eyes .. I do NOT like the packaging because one cloth is hard to take out without taking extras, and it’s also not re-sealable, so they do get dry pretty quickly.. So far, they haven’t caused me to break out or get rashes or anything, and i have fair and dry/sensitive skin, but i would deffinetly go for a cream/lotion makeup remover of some sort .
Most of the other Marcelle products are GREAT though !!!!!!!! And they do have other makeup removers with much better effects.

If you have combination or dry skin, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.
It’s hypo-allergenic and perfume-free.. whop-dee-doo. It will dry out your skin like the Sahara desert.
The red dry patches on my skin worsened EXPONENTIALLY upon using this, and it also gave me an itchy feeling after I used them to remove my makeup.
Just.. girls, stay away from this.

I found these at Shoppers Drug Mart, 2 packages of 25 for $10, so I grabbed them to use for an upcoming trip. I tried them tonight and I really like them. They’re not super moist right out of the package but I didn’t find that to be a probem. They removed my eyeliner and non-waterproof mascara (CG Lash Blast) easily, and I could see my foundation and blush on the cloth after I wiped down my face so I think they did a good job of removing my makeup. I have pretty sensitive skin and was happy to not feel any tingling/burning after using these cloths. My skin felt clean and refreshed afterwards – I thought I might have to splash my face with water to remove any residue but that wasn’t the case at all. Definitely a great find for the price, and so convenient to use…I will definitely repurchase!

These cloths are positively remarkable. I’d long thought “what the HECK, they’re just WASHCLOTHS, for pete’s sake” — ohhhh, I was so wrong. They make my evening cleansing ritual so much easier (I can merely rub my cleansing oil into my skin, run a wet one of these all over my face, follow with a swipe of koh gen do cleansing water, a little serum and some moisturizer and I am DONE — I’ve got it down to where it takes little longer than running a cleansing wipe over my face, and the results are so much more gratifying) and they easily rinse clean like magic. Hang it up to dry and it’s ready to roll again come morning. I cannot remember my skin being this happy, and the only thing I changed in my regimen was a swap from [whatever brand] lazy, pre-moistened cleansing cloths to these — WHY did I wait so long to give these a shot?! (Note: I still use my beloved Clarisonic Pro when I shower — but I swear sometimes these are doing an equally good job at exfoliating…)

I received a sample Eve Lom Cleansing Cloth along with a sample of her cleanser and mask from Sephora – maybe used 100 points to get it? Anywho, one try of the muslin cloth & I was hooked. (Not hooked on the cleanser at all & see it gets low reviews here.) I’ve since ordered a 3-pack of the cloths & am in facial heaven with them. They are magically smooth, yet offer amazing friction, so your skin is beyond baby-soft when you’re done. Truly amazing. I do not wash them after each use, as I rinse them out well & hang them to dry – no bacteria issues, or any others.
Yes, expensive, but everyone says they last forever, so I’m on-board big time. It’s the most natural way to exfoliate that I know of, & I love it. An indulgence that’s worth the cost IMHO.

This is the Muslin Cloths we are taalking about, yes? Well I like ’em a lot with the cleanser. But Im gonna rate them as 4 because they are pricey to buy individually and they are a BITCH to wash. I wash them in boiling water, sometimes with dettol or alcohol-based cleanser and dry them by my heater if I can. Sometimes I just dont use them and become lazy with the skin care routinue as they are sooo annoying to wash. Per one cloth you can cut it in half and sew the raw edges on your sewing machiene. Then you have to cloths for the price of one!. I am I the normal weight range with a small face so 1/2 the cloth is enough for me and I think it would be fine for most people. I wouldnt buy the cloths individually cause they are way too pricey and you could probably find similary material at the craft store. I just buy the tubs in advance and then use the cloths out of these. I use my cloths once per cleanse and I leave them in wter 10 days to 2 weeks before I wash them. Be careful though some of your cloths may get a spot of mould or two though.

This are great simple makeup wipes. They work well and don’t irritate my skin. They’re a pretty good buy considering how expensive wipes are! BUT, Costco Kirkland face cleansing wipes have the EXACT same ingredients. Identical. So if you have a Costco membership, you can save a ton of money by buying those instead!!

Also bought it like author- on sale, needed something more or less on a cheaper side, absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!! They smell heavenly, and actually do get all the dirt and makeup off your face without drying, extremely satisfied, all of BALEA products are insane actually including shave gel, razors, shower gels and shampoos.

I buy these whenever they go on sale at Shoppers because they are the best deal for your money (56 cloths in a pack!). I also enjoy how they stay wet in the hard case package (even when they are not in the case, they are pretty good). The only negative thing is that they tend to leave a weird residue on my face, but it goes away after a few short minutes. They can remove waterproof mascara, but it takes a few tries.
