Overall a nice product, but the smell becomes too much for me after a while. Thick consistency. My hair feels clean but I have the feeling it made my scalp dry in comparison to the Vitaline beer shampoo I used before that. Won’t repurchase.

My hair goes all the way down to my hips, is generally manageable, and not very damaged. I don’t dislike this shampoo. Judging by other reviews it either works for you or it doesn’t. For me it works. My hair is shiny and smells nice. Definitely smell it before you buy though, if you don’t like the smell don’t buy it! It lingers on all day long! The only thing I dislike about the shampoo, is that it leaves my hair somewhat… more likely to get tangled. I comb and brush my hair, and after 10 or 15 minutes it’s tangled already, even though I use a conditioner which I love. The tangledness gives my hair somewhat more volume though, so if you like volume, maybe you won’t care about the tangled feeling. I would not buy the shampoo again, but I will use the whole bottle up.

I need way too much of this shampoo to make my hair feel remotely clean – and not squeaky-clean, all oil stripped type thing (which I don’t aim for – not good for your hair) – so I go through it quickly for not much result. My hair is not super-duper long, it’s about 20cm past my shoulders, so perhaps this is meant for really Rapunzel long hair.

I had such high hopes for Aussie when I first purchased this shampoo (and matching conditioner). At first I really liked the smell and it made my hair soft. By the third use, it made my hair greasy and even more concerning, my hair was falling out by the handful. When I switched back to my Schwarzkopf Gliss, the hairfall stopped completely. My hair became lank and sticky and the smell went from being bubblegum-y to sickly sweet. I found the price way too steep for a product that isn’t great and the packaging is very ugly. I don’t like the flip tops at all. I definitely will not be purchasing again.

I bought this product while I was away on vacation and ran out of my Kerastase shampoo. It was not very moisturizing but it did what it promises as it kept my hair swingy. I think that it is good value for money, considering that Aussie is a drugstore brand.

I love this shampoo. First of all the smell is so nice and you can smell it on your hair after you wash it out, which is good. It also reduces frizz a lot and makes my hair soft and shiny, I would definitely recommend this product

I LOVE THIS! It smell so great that I’d use it even if it did nothing to my hair. But it also makes it soft and reduces frizz and all… I wonder why it doesn’t work for everyone, but I guess we’re all different, I really love it though 🙂

What a lovely shampoo (and conditioner and deep conditioner). It has a nice sweet smell and does make my long dry hair soft and managable.

I purchased this product on the recommendation of a friend who swears by it- she has straight, blonde hair past her shoulders and it always looks great! However, it just didn’t work for me.
I have long brown hair (longer than tailbone length). It is fine but I have a lot of it! My first impression of the product was the smell- I loved it. It smells like some sweet candy from my childhood, but I just can’t name the scent at all. Anyway- that love was quick lived, because it got too sickly sweet FAST, and now when I use it I can’t stand the smell.
The shampoo is fine, it’s a light blue pearly liquid that cleans well and doesn’t leave a build up on the scalp. However it’s not very hydrating (and with hair my length you REALLY need a moisturising shampoo). Also, the scent does linger, but it’s not as overpowering as it is while you’re using it.
The conditioner is just… blah. Bottom line: it doesn’t condition. My hair is left dry and I need to use a separate leave-in conditioner on top. Also- the conditioner comes in a 250ml bottle but the shampoo comes in a 300ml bottle!
Will not repurchase while my hair is this length (especially as I live in Australia and it is a big hassle to import). However, if I ever move back to the UK and I’ve cut my hair shorter (about shoulder length), then I might try the shampoo again, because my scalp does feel nice.
