I LOVE THIS STUFF. I found peach apricot and strawberry banana at the back of my drawer, so I read the makeupalley reviews as to how I could use the lip butter. I read a review saying that they worked great overnight, and they do. My lips are sooo much softer and moisturized ever since I started using this at night. Highly recommend.
The packaging is cheap plastic that can break easily, and it is a jar that you have to dip your fingers into, but since I usually put it on at night after washing my face, I’m not too concerned about bacteria.

I see this at my local CVS pharmacy and also at dollar stores so I don’t know if its being discontinued or not. The lemon is lovely, thick but not sticky/pasty, feels cushy on the lips. The scent is more lemon meringue, as opposed to EOS lemon sphere lip balm which is more sweet lemon drop.
This tones down pigmented lips and has an spf. If you’re not opposed to pot balm/glosses this is nice stuff.

I love this lip butter so much, the smell of them are just splendid. I have the strawberry and banana as well as the citrus coconut one… I perfer the strawberry and banana one because it smells so good that i’m constantly appling it because it smells so good. Unlike other lip gloss and butters this one product has become my favorite it last a long time and actually prevents dry chapped lips. The product works as well as the one’s used in Bath and Body Works but the difference is that i bought this product for $ 1 … yes $ 1 dollar compared to $ 7.50 at BATH and Body Works. Actually later on this week i’m planning to but the other flavors. ; )

I used to use Vanilla Macadamia, and love it. I have recently found the Blueberry Blush version and it’s my all time favourite Nivea lip butter. Blueberry Blush smells devine, wears well and has a slight blueberry bubblegum taste. I love keeping nivea lip butter on over night, always wake up with a perfect pout. It sucks that it comes in a tin, but I can deal with that due to it being a sublime product.

Purchased vanilla/macadamia and raspberry rose balms. vanilla/macadamia is definitely one of my favs!!!! Smells divine, stays on all night until morning (usually like to put it on before going to bed), lips appear smooth and well moisturized.
the only thing that bothers me is the packaging- difficult to use the product if u have long (or any!) nails, product also tends to get dirty from fingers so not very hygenic…. Chapsticks are more convenient to carry around and use during the day.
I keep it on my nightstand and use it before going to sleep.
Tried other more expensive brands but will keep coming to this 1;)

I love this balm, recently repurchased this in the vanilla & macadamia version. It’s so thick but comfortable on the lips, and wonderfully emollient- dry, chapped lips immediately feel softened.
A thick coating of this every night helps get me through the cold, Canadian winters.

Scent/flavor: Cocoa Butter Kiss
Pros: -smells great -not super thick or sticky -moisturizing -a lot of product for the price
Cons: -too much can leave a white film on the lips -i personally don’t really like potted products, cap can sometimes be difficult to open
This one smells really nice. It has a nutty vanilla scent. I have the Raspberry Rose Kiss one as well and I enjoy both. I honestly only tried them out for the hype on beauty pages, but I think they’re worth it.

I have the Coconut lip butter. It smells divine, and even though I have been using this since the start of the year, the smell is still present and noticeable (in a good way!). The lip butter is very emollient, non-sticky and kept my lips in amazing shape this past winter. I got it on sale at 40% off, but even at full price it is very affordable. I wish it didn’t come in a tin and wish it offered at least SPF 15, but otherwise I highly recommend this product. It will take me forever to finish I think, because a little goes a long way, but when I do run out I think I will be repurchasing.

Cheap. Effective. Love these. Have repurchased mainly because I keep losing track of the various tins. However a single tin probably would last forever. I am NC 30-35, with deeply pigmented lips with a cool undertone. I might be the sole reviewer here that finds the transluscent white cast of RR in particular, flattering. These are petroleum based and do have some shine and a bit of a coating, but they are not sticky. ISmiths rosebud salve and kiehl’s seemed closer to Vaseline than this. if I want something more matte, I use Palmers cocoa butter stick (the one that looks like a big blue stick). The scent is artificial but I don’ t mind it as it has no taste. I apply at home, so can deal with a pot. Also am happy using these before going to bed. For severe chapping, I sometimes layer with lansinoh 100% lanolin.
Note: in comparison to more expensive balms, I positively hated Nuxe lip balm with honey. The scent irritated my lips and I don’t feel moisturized. The only thing I liked about the Nuxe was the matte finish.

I saw a lot of Nivea’s lip butter all over the internet. I did not had them in ny country so, recently I travelled to Jakarta and saw Nivea’s lip butter at a Drugstore. I needed them that time as my lips were chapped and cracked. I bought the Rasberry Rose and FALL IN LOVE with it. I love, love, love the scent of it and the packaging is so CUTE and compact to put in your purse. I wouldn’t have love it for the smell and packaging, I love it for how moisturized and hydrated my lips were in only 1 try. Since I couldn’t get them in my country, I bought two more which was Vanilla & Macadamia Nut and Original since that was the only flavor they had. I love all of them. Oh yeah, If you have no problem on having milky lips, i suggest u to purchase the Vanilla & Macadamia Nut but Raspberry Rose gives the best natural colour to my lips and made my lips look beautiful and pinkish. It gives a beautiful colour to my lips. Vanilla & Macadamia nut have a vanilla scent and nutty too. I suggest wearing it before u go to bed to get soft and beautiful lips in the morning.
I rate this product 5/5. From all of that benefits, This product is also VERY VERY AFFORDABLE AND CHEAP !!!!!! Grab it in ur local drugstore to get soft and beautiful lips!!
Kisses, xox

Amazing strawberry smell but that ‘s that. I didn‘ t find it did anything special (or even basic) for my lips. No hydration, no softening and on the top of that it left a white shining layer that made me look scary, impossible to wear outdoors! Not to mention it in comes in a jar, you have to dive your fingers all the time -how unhygienic! (Personally, I only use a cotton bud with such products).
I am finishing up the jar using it to add some shine to some matt lipsticks I have.
cockyAbalone4
I have strawberry, and it’s amazing it smells like strawberry bubblegum and it feels so nice on the lips it’s really smooth and feels like butter on the lips and so soft the only thing I don’t like is the packaging but I love the texture
solidLlama7
(I have this in Strawberry) Smells amazing and feels good on the lips when you first apply, but does nothing for my dry lips in the long run. It doesn’t seem to have any moisturizing effects at all. Very disappointed, as I usually love TBS products.
Also the packaging is terribly unhygienic and becomes gross fast, which I hate. Skip this, the smell isn’t worth it.
goofyHeron6
This is an amazing product. I can’t believe it took me this long to buy, since I use other products from The Body Shop. It really moisturizers your lips and keeps them super soft, even after it wears off. My lips never feel chapped and it smells incredible. This is definitely a must buy!!!!
enviousMandrill3
As someone who has an obsession with keeping my lips soft (as well as an obsession for yummy lip balms), I seriously love this product!
I got the pink grapefruit lip butter. It melted into my lips, made them so hydrated and soft, and they stayed that way for a while. I felt that I didnt have to reapply for at LEAST four hours, and it’s the winter, so my lips are getting really dry. A lot of people seem to be having issues with a white cast, but I got the pink grapefruit so I am not having any issues like that.
Will definitely buy again.
sincereRhino8
I really don’t understand this product. It doesn’t moisturize my lips. My lips actually get chaffed with this. It leaves a white cast, so I always must use a lip gloss or something over it, which defeats the grab-and-go purpose of purchasing it in the first place.
I gave it two lippies because I love the jar.
crummyDunbird1
The first thing: you open the lid, and the smell overwhelms you. ITS SO STRONG I GET HEADACHES. I was a little apprehensive, so I tried it. It left a white cast, and did not hydrate nor did it do anything positive. It didn’t dry out my lips, but it certainly did nothing. Two lippies because it makes a great solid perfume LOL
abjectGnu9
I own the wild rose one which gives such a delightful and aetherial color on my lips! I use it for about a couple of days and it leaves my lips really soft. The price where i live (greece) was about 6 euros which is fair for the quality of this item!
enviousTermite3
This is an ok lip butter. It moisturises and gives colour. However, I find applying coloured lip butter from a pot messy as I need something to wipe my finger on after application. That’s just me though.
superiorHeron7
I really love this for rehydrating my lips. The consistency is nice, not too thick, nor is it greasy. The smell is pleasant, and it absorbs quickly. I would definitely rebuy this, it makes wearing liquid lipsticks much easier.
pleasedJaguar5
I got this in pomegrante as a free gift with other korres products three years ago. At first I loved it mainly because of how amaaazing this smells but I soon found myself avoiding using it. That was because:
A) although it feels pleasantly buttery on the lips when applied, my lips felt dryer soon after,
B) it is quite tinted for a lip butter and its orangey gloss looked awful on my dull pale olive face even if I was applying very little,
C) The pot packaging is the worst for this kind of product that you use on the go, so use after use I was getting increasingly disgusted by the idea of sticking my finger in it and then on my lips.
So if you are really tempted to buy this, you should mind the colour when choosing as it actually shows and be prepared to use it more like a lipgloss applying it with a lip brush. Anyway myself I accepted it is not ok to keep an expired product just for the pleasure of sniffing it every now and then and finally threw it away.

Perfect lip balm to soothe lips or add a hint of color. Recommend to everyone!!!
joyfulCamel8
I have this product in both plum and jasmine and I absoloutely loooove the formula. Extremely creamy and moisturizing. I love that the jasmine is light when I don’t want a lot of color on my lips but the plum is a beautiful wash of pink when I wanna add moisture AND color to my lips. A litttleeee pricey at $12 for a tube and not a huge fan of the packaging but those are small issues for an awesome product
lazyBoa9
I have this lip butter in pomegranate and I really like it. First of all I have to say that Korres is a Greek brand and here in Greece, where I live, Korres is not concidered high-end and it is reletively cheap. To be excact this lip butter costs 6 euros (around 8 dollars). With this in mind, I think that it is a good moisturizer for you lips. I haven’t gave this product five lippies, only because there is another lip butter that I love more.
Pros:
It moisturizes well.
You can feel your lips soft and hydrated even after you remove the product.
It has good and subtle smell.
It gives you a natural color on you lips.
It has smooth texture.
It is an organic product, free of parabens, silicone and other ingredients that are supposed to to be bad for you skin.
Cons:
The only thing that I have to say is that, although I found its packaging pleasing to the eye and cute, it is not hygienic since you have to use your fingers to apply. You can use a brush but, let’s be honest, would you use a brush for just lip butter? For these reasons I only use this product at home before my makeup or before I go to sleep. Lastly, I suppose the packaging is also really disturbing I you have long nails.
cockyMallard0
I bought this one for $10 AUD & i feel so ripped off, honestly. I could’ve bought something much more hydrating for a much cheaper price. The flavour that I have this one in is ‘Vanilla Creme Brûlée” & sometimes when it gets to my mouth I just couldn’t swallow anymore, so I have to spit & wipe it off my lips. It smells good but it could be a little nauseating.
Update January 13 2015: The packaging broke without me doing anything to it.
Now I have to get the product from the sides, instead of the tip.

I used to have this product a lon time ago, I had the Lemon Twist flavor as well. I love them, they are one of the best lip balms I have ever owned. Since then I have been trying to find them and I can’t for the life of me, except on eBay, and it really depresses me. They don’t have this flavor online though. Hopefully I can find, Lord knows I’ll order like 10.
I put a “3” as a sort of neutral for the pricing because when I got it, I recieved it as a gift.

I purchased a set of 3 of these at CVS. I think this is an average product that I wouldn’t purchase again. Although it does have Shea and Mango Butter :)…. the first ingredient is mineral oil… :(. That is just a NO NO. It is not that moisturizing. Essence of Beauty needs to work on these.
wingedFalcon6
I love this product, and these lip butters prove once again that you don’t need to drop a lot of money on lip products. To me, these are superior to rosebud salve and products of the like. I have one in Strawberry Banana, which smells absolutely fantastic and applies clear to the lips. I also have one in Pomegranite apple, which tints my pigmentd lips a beautiful red, berry tone. Both are incredibly moisturizing and double as a conditoner, balm, gloss, etc. They smell delicious and I constantly reapply them, particularly the strawberry banana in class. For the price, they cannot be beat and the flavor selection is great. I can’t wait to pick up more. My friends are constantly smelling them.

I bought this as an emergency purchase, since I didn’t have any of my regular lip products with me and my lips were dry.
It turned out to be great product! It feels very comfortable and seems to moisturize really well. It also gives a little color! And I like the smell, too.
Will definitely repurchase.

This review is for Nivea lip butter in “cocoa butter kiss”.
I love this stuff! It’s moisturizing, smells great, (no taste), and last a long time – several hours without eating or drinking. It leaves a nice soft sheen on your lips that’s more shiny than regular lip balm but not quite a glossy as a gloss. It’s actually really moisturizing too – curing my chapped lips which is something Vaseline or Smith’s Rosebud balm couldn’t do! The packaging is a round, flat tin (similar to the travel sized tin of the Nivea cream I so adore) that comes in a .59oz (16.7 g) size. It could very easily fit in a small purse (which I carry) or a pocket. I like pot balms – I prefer them even over stick or squeeze tube balms – and the consistency in the tin is, well, like butter! It has a soft creamy color too so it resembles butter too. It has a soft and creamy consistency with a bit of “bounce” to it so it gives a little under pressure (like butter would) – but not too soft. I could possibly see this melting under heat but I haven’t tested or experienced this yet. For you vegans out there, I believe it IS actually vegan! There is definitely no beeswax in here but I will include ingredients down below to be sure. For those of you who mentioned it doesn’t have SPF… I actually think it does. Titanium dioxide IS a sun protectant and it is listed in the ingredients – but perhaps it’s not in a high enough concentration to make a difference. I did want to throw that out there though… Love this stuff!
$2.99 USD at Ulta.

I love this stuff! I had it in the raspberry scent first for a while, and I found that the best way to use this is to take some with a lipbrush, spread it evenly over your lips, and then take like a minute or 2 and dab it into your lips. I find that when I do this it really helps this sink in and my lips look and feel so much more plump, I do that with all chapsticks but with this it works exceptionally well. If you found this too thick or like it didn’t sink in, just try dabbing it in for a couple of minutes!
boastfulJaguar4
I’ve only ever used chapsticks before and I was looking for something that would really hydrate my lips; especially during the winter months. I picked the Raspberry Rose one because it was the only “flavor” they had in the store I went to. I am a big fan of Nivea products and thought I’d try it out.
Basically, this is the BEST hydrating lip product I have ever used. I was hesitant on the Raspberry “flavor” but it’s very subtle and this lip butter glides on smoothly. A little bit goes a long way as well. I think I’ve had mine for a few months now and I’ve used it almost everyday.
I wish the packaging was different though, I feel as it’s a bit unsanitary with sticking my fingers in it all the time, but it’s not the worst thing.
Also – I put it on after I brush my teeth and my mouth feels super pampered and fresh. You should definitely try it out.

I’ve got the Strawberry flavored Crisco! Just sits on top of your lips. Horrible product!

Really nourishes my lips, it’s great to use under lipstick as well. Only downside is the packaging, hate when it gets on my nails.

I love love love these! They don’t break the bank, they moisturize my lips, and one tube lasts for a bit too. I’m on my third tube now & will definitely purchase when it runs out.

I bought this in Jasmine and it was not at all what I expected. A) it smells nothing of jasmine but more cookies or freshly baked cakes-definitely more of a generic sweet, sugary smell rather than the delicate jasmine I was expecting. B) it thought the texture would be more of a balm, a water- based easy glide balm. It’s not, it’s a gloss- feels fairly sticky on the lips. C) it doesn’t do my lip colour any favours- at best it’s translucent, and worst it makes my lips slightly paler than their natural colour (the product in the pot is a baby pink colour) and not in a flattering way at all. If you’re looking for a clear/slightly pale pink lip gloss with a slightly chemical sickly sweet smell then this is great, but I expected something completely different and was a bit let down.
cheerfulTermite1
HG lip product. This is frankly the only lip product that I have found that doesn’t irritate and dry out my lips like crazy.
Pros:
– Smooth & buttery texture
– Beautiful colors
– Super moisturizing
– Smells great
– Lasts well for a lip balm
– Non-toxic if ingested
Cons:
– Unhygienic tub packaging
– Expensive

i think this is going to be one of my favorite lip products,
i wish it had sunscreen, i absolutely love the texture of this, and the smell is amazing. i have strawberry banana, and love it.
i can put this on my lips before bed, and wake up with it still on my lips. talk about lasting power!
makes my lips feel great, soft, and moisturized.
i bought this on a whim at cvs, because i have a wandering eye for lip products, and strawberry is my scent of choice usually.
this is 2.99 at CVS.

I love this product! I use two main lip balm products: Softlips and Essence of Beauty. I personally think Essence of Beauty always moisturizes my lips and keeps it that way!! I think I actually prefer it over softlips. There is also a lot of product in the tiny container. I’ve had it for so long and yet i still have a ton left!

I liked the way these lip butters smelled, and they had a nice touch of flavor, not waxy or medicinal. The packaging was cute, too. However, they did not moisturize very well; in fact, they had a rather drying effect. I looked at the label and saw that one of the ingredients is mineral oil, which is always a problem for me. It’s too bad, because otherwise I would like this product.
