I realized when I saw a new review of this that I had forgotten to review it myself! If you love smokey eyes…you must have this. There are purple, blue, gray and black smokey eye options. I really like the quality. The whole pallet is great although the lighter sparkly shadows are not very opaque, they can be built up especially if you spritz your brush with setting spray. Of the CS pallets, Revealed 2 (the roses) is my favorite but this is a close second.

I recently hauled CS Revealed, Revealed 2, and Revealed Smokey. Upon eyeing the palette, it is clear that this is meant to be a dupe of UD’s Naked Smokey palette. I was very impressed with the quality of Revealed and Revealed 2, but this one was a disappointment.

With all the Revealed palettes, the pearl/metallic shades are creamy, pigmented, and longlasting with a good primer. The matte shades are also pretty decent, although they do take some building up, which I am okay with. For whatever reason though, CS decided to include some chunky glitter shades in this one (why do makeup companies even insist on this kind of texture?!). Some of the satins were chunky as well, and they tended to flake off during application. I even tried packing the colors only to observe fading throughout the day. I would say that less than half of the palette is usable for this reason. I’ll probably gift this to a friend instead.
