I bought this on a whim, Naked 3 is my absolute favourite palette but it is pretty cumbersome for travel so I bought this thinking it’d be a good option when I don’t have much space.
First, the palette is gorgeous. It’s a sturdy rose gold square that closes with magnets and has a mirror in the lid.I have no complaints but some people might not like the fact that it’ll probably pick up fingerprints pretty easily!
The eyeshadows I have no real complaints about, they blend well and have a nice texture. BUT…..they’re not quite what I wanted. I was a bit hasty in buying I admit and unfortunately in the UK you can’t return used cosmetics.
Bone: yellowish matte neutral. Works great as an all over eye colour or to highlight
Pink Bellini: looks beautiful in the pan and was expecting something similar to Stila Kitten. However, it’s basically just glitter and used on its own the colour payoff is poor. You just get sparkle which was not what I was expecting based on when I swatched on my hand.
Rose Gold: this colour is nice and the payoff is much better. But it’s not as pink as I want and tends to lean a little orange on me. It definitely needs other colours to make it work, at least on me.
Smokey Brown: no complaints here. A very dark brown great for lining the eyes or for doing a smokey look, although I haven’t so far.
I wouldn’t buy again, but I would consider a different one from the same range. I think next time I’ll just buy singles of the colours I really like out of Naked 3.
