   I first tried this at a Korean spa after using a soap that worked as a light peel for my face. The results were amazing, it soothed redness and shrunk bumps! I have hypersensitve acne prone skin and this mask is by far my favorite. I’ve tried other masks by naisture but the ginseng mask helps my skin the most by far, I now use it once or twice a week and it eradicated mild acne I’ve spent years trying to get rid of. I also like how firm my skin feels after using this mask, some may not like the smell but I don’t mind.

   Of all the Naisture face sheet brand, this one has the most luxurious packaging. It is all in gold and just looking at it, make your mind set of luxury treat.

   Ginseng Mask Pack promise to immediately moisturizes and tightens your skin and I would have to agree. It doesn’t feel very tight, but has that firm feeling.

   The face sheet is fairly thick cotton with holes cut out for the eyes and mouth. As for the nose, there is slits on the side and opening for the end of the nose. In my view, the cut out for the nose is reasonable to fit my face and the whole placement of the mask is very nice and even. I wish the cotton would be longer to cover the neck and chest.

   There is so much solution that you can use the rest on your neck, chest, and arms. You leave it on for 10-15 minutes and do not wash off the solution. To get maximum benefits from this mask, you need to do deep cleaning with a Clairisonic machine and use a physical facial scrub before you apply this sheet mask.

   Naisture suggest you use this mask two to three times a week. Personally I will not. I need to increase my cellular turnover to help maintain my collegan, which decrease with age and I need something to keep my pores clean and I love any brightening. I do not need this particular face sheet mask, but I will continue to purchase on steady regular basis because Naisture brand is very good quality for what you get.

   The scent to me, is not that great. In fact, the first time I tried it, I thought it was horrible! I’ve gotten used to it, but still continue to turn me off when there are others that are so much better and yes, I will continue to purchase because with this mask, it works. I am also aware that masks are temporary affect on the skin, but believe me, as you age, you do everything you can to maintain your youthful look and masking does work if you find the ones that are effective. Again, Naisture brand appears to provide quality masks that is non-medical grade.

   I paid $9 for five sheet mask that come in a box.

   I keep forgetting how the Price rating works for Makeup Alley and the note doesn’t pop-up right now for me when I roll-over the lipsticks. Anyways, I purchased a box of 5 from Marshall’s for $4.99. Very inexpensive and these are made in Korea.

   This sheet mask is made of a heavier cotton than your popular less expensive brands like My Beauty Diaries. There’s a ton of milky serum in these packets, so I always squeeze the mask a little bit as I pull it out so the serum doesn’t end up dripping down my neck. I continue to use the serum through the week for extra moisture.

   Some “herbal/ginseng” products out there have a sweet honey smell to it that makes it more pleasant. This sheet mask surprisingly smelled more like the natural ginseng root with a slight sweetness to it, but not heavily perfumed. I can see some people not enjoying this scent, but since I grew up with drinking boiled ginseng and in soups, so I am OK with it.

   Overall, I’m a bit bummed about the result of this sheet mask. My skin felt slightly smoother & tighter than usual, but it lacked the “a-ha” factor. I had such great results after using their Whitening C Mask Pack sheet mask, so I hoarded all types from Naisture since it’s only $1 per sheet. Not looking forward to trying to finish these up, but I have a ton more other versions I am looking forward to trying.
