I ordered this online as I like strong refreshing scents. However, if there was a store near me I never would have bought this. I DO like the smell, but it’s got a weird aftersmell that I can’t quite put my finger on.
It’s also pretty rubbish at moisturising lips and kinda stings and irritates my lips slightly (I do have quite sensitive skin) although it doesn’t last long.
I think it’s quite expensive as the only benefit I get from it is the novel smell.

Picked this up in Japan while living there a few years ago, it tastes just like one of those Necco wafer candies, the green one. Love it!! The texture is lovely, it makes your lips smooth and soft, and the flavour and smell is just fantastic. I used this until it cracked and got a bit weird from age, and would love another one!

I got this as a gift, and first of all, I love the packaging. I wonder if they changed it? It is a cute little tin and the lid screws off an on, so it is not difficult to open.
Love the texture, very smooth and nice, and the ingredients are really wonderful. It is quite moisturizing, but I find that I am applying it often. I am not sure if it is because I need to, or if I just love applying it. Since I love limes, this is perfect for me.

I was really excited to try Lush products when I first heard of them, and I was super excited to see a Lush store at Woodfield in Schaumburg, Il. Before that, I had to order online only.
Anyway. I was in the store one day, and came across the lip balms at the cash register. I bought Honey Trap and my sister got Lip Lime. I ended up really liking Lip Lime and purchased it later for myself. I liked the smell and the consistency, but it dried out on me and it’s hard to apply if it’s not “warmed up” first.
I wasn’t thrilled and I could buy a lot cheaper balms that work better. This was okay but nothing special. Not worth it, in my opinion.

The lady behind the counter gave this to me for free, otherwise I wouldn’t of purchased it.
My first reaction was that it must have been in the sun for too long because the surface looked cracked and yucky. However as soon as I ran my finger over it, it magically melted or something because the consistency on my lips was amazing, it went on so smooth!
I couldn’t actually see the balm on my fingers, but when I pressed them to my lips it made my lips soft and moisturised, so if you ever try it DON’T try to scoop the mixture out, just gently run your fingers across. I’ve sinced looked at other LUSH balms and they are all the same so it must be something in the formula.
If you need something very moistusising however this isn’t very intensive, it doesn’t last very long on your lips.
I didn’t like the scent, it smells a bit like lime cheesecake (if that even exists!), however I’m not a fan of citrusy scents anyway so don’t take my word for it.
Another thing is the packaging, at first I thought it was a handy size but it is quite difficult to open, especially if your hands are slightly damp.

Get this lip balm if you like the flavour or if, like me, you insist on trying out all of Lush’s lip balms one by one at least once. This lip balm has zero staying power. Zilch. It moisturizes nicely for the about 10 minutes that it stays on your lips, then you must apply more or it’s like you never put anything on. It’s good for a lazy day at home when you’ve got nothing better to do except watch golden oldies and spread lip balm on your lips the whole day long (and I actually do this!), but if you’re busy forget it. Tastes more tart than I expected from the reviews, it does remind you of lime pie but not cream lime pie. If you want a really AWESOME Lush lip balm try Lite Lip Balm (the one with the red lid), it moisturizes super and has a great scent too.

I love the scent of this product. It smells very much like lime, but it also has a sweetness to it. It kind of reminds me of key lime pie. It is very smooth to apply and it doesn’t dry out my lips. It also provides a bit of a shine to my lips. The packaging could be better, as it can be difficult to open at times. Also, it’s a little pricey at $8.95 CAD for a 10g tin. However, I’d probably repurchase again. EDITED TO ADD: Do not put this lip balm in your pocket!!! I did just that for about an hour (as I typically keep my other lip balms of other brands in my pocket), and when I opened it all of balm in melted liquid form poured out all over me! I’m reducing my rating to only 2/5 now. I wouldn’t repurchase just because of the melting factor.

I really enjoy this product. I like the softness and lip glossy quality it holds. I have also tried Eggsnog and Honey Trap and out of the 3 this is my fave.

This is more of a lip gloss than a lip balm. It goes on very soft, but it doesn’t last very long. I have to keep reapplying. That said, it does make lips very soft, and it smells great, like limes. The pot is a bit annoying- it’s not the easiest thing in the world to open, but overall, it’s a good lipbalm.

I’m not a big fan of this stuff.. I’ve tried better. The packaging is really bad and the actual balm is too thick to apply. Did anyone else have this problem? I don’t really like lime etc but this was quite fresh and the taste took my fancy.
