I bought this at Marshall’s for about $5-6 because I liked the idea of having a hair fragrance spray since I smoke and my hair tends to smell like cigarettes afterward (blehh, I know, I know…) Anyway, I also liked the idea of my hair smelling “shampoo fresh” but this spray smells a little too strong, like shampoo perfume. The initial power of the scent does fade (so if you like that fresh and clean soap scent, go for it) but after spraying this, my boyfriend (who is super sensitive to fragrances) won’t even go near me because he said I smell like I poured laundry detergent all over my head 🙁 So this is going on my swap list. I plan on trying a hair fragrance called “Sexy Girl Hair Cologne” (from Asia) in Shiny Peach or Paradise Fruity. They seem like they would be more softly scented and wouldn’t smell like soap. I prefer fruity scents anyway.

The first time I used this, my boo said I smelled amazing, and demanded that his friend come over immediately and smell me. He too declared the scent a winner, saying–I kid you not–that I smelled like “heaven”. Im not much of a “perfume” girl (I hate the thought of being that girl reeking of fragrance,) so this was a new compliment for me. It’s quite potent, but the scent itself is remarkably universal, IMO. Clean.
I got 2 bottles for mad cheap at tj maxx ($6ish each?) and would probably pay up to $10 or so, but the msrp of $50 is positively exorbitant. I’ll stalk the shelves of tj maxx for replacements when it runs out. That, or no longer smell like heaven. Sigh.

I got it for $5.99 at Marshalls!

I am a girl that loves to smell clean and like soap. I bought this after hearing about it in a magazine and then sniffing it at Nordstrom’s. What a lovely thought that you could give your hair that fresh washed scent with just a spray! Too bad the scent doesn’t last longer than a few minutes. So no, I do not recommend this unless you are ok with carrying the bottle around and constantly ‘refreshing’ your hair with it. The scent is nice but what use is it if I only can smell it within the few minutes after spraying it?! I’ll just stick to perfumes and perfumed lotions.

I live in canada and also purchased this at WINNERS (for those of you in the gta they’re all over the place) and I couldn’t be more pleased. It ran me about 14 bucks which is a steal and its such a fresh soapy shampoo scent! I have very large curly hair and it absorbs scents around me very quickly (food especially) and this is great in between washes. I also use dry shampoo by Oscar Blandi for oil but this cant be beat for scent. I may go back and grab a back up, cause Canadian sephora’s dont seem to carry it

I would never pay $42 CDN for it, which I believe is retail price, but I gladly purchased when I found it at Winners for $14.99. I can’t wear Clean as a perfume (so synthetic, so cloying), but this is a little gem. It’s a softer version of Clean, and ultimately, friendlier. I spray twice into my hair – one on top, and I flip my hair over and spray underneath. It’s subtle this way, but has enough impact that when I walk by someone, it’s detectable. It’s as if I literally just stepped out of a delicious, steaming shower.

This does smell nice, but $39 for it is just crazy!! Stick with your favorite scent & just reapply if you think your hair smells less than freshly washed. No way is it worth the price.

I have chin length hair so I suppose the bottle can last me at least a year or so since around 3 sprays will do the trick after spending an hour in a hot humid foodcourt or fastfood place wif their various food odours. Does not cause any greasiness and in fact it does impart an extra sheen to my hair. A bit expensive but considering that only a little bit is required, very worthwhile still.

Ooh! Being a huge fan of Clean, I must say I love this. Now, listen ladies, I wash my hair everyday. Probably not good, but I’m a subway rider and germaphobe and it must be done. So not that I need to cover up a “smell” or anything so I can’t vouch for its odor-absorbing power, but I love the fresh way this spray makes my hair smell! It makes your hair smell like you’ve just washed it with the world’s best smelling shampoo, and the scent has been magically retained by your strands. 3 quick sprays and heads are turning, guaranteed. 😉 My bf is obsessed with my hair now, lol.
One lippie off of this object-of-perfection, because it only lasts a few hours. Or maybe, I just get used to the smell. But it smells WONDERFUL. I bought it in a very worth it Clean Gift Set – $49 for the 6 oz. shampoo hair fragrance, the 2.14 oz. Clean Clean Eau de Parfum (my favorite fragrance from the entire collection), and a 2oz. soft body lotion.
