Love this product. I use it on my lips, color is perfect and stays put for a long time.

Nothing special. Goes on rather dry and chalky. I applied this shadow after using a well-known primer, and it did last (the primer may not be necessary), but with a dry and chalky finish. I used my finger to apply it. I see no real pink in it at all, it’s mostly a nude. It does not crease at all (I have not yet used it without a primer). Perhaps I will like this shadow more if I prep my lid first with an emollient eye cream, which I will try next. But if that doesn’t work, I will return this shadow. It’s overpriced, too, in my opinion. Perhaps you will like it more than I did.

This is a really nice color. It’s a soft nude pink, that is a nice alternative from the usual beiges/taupes. I find it brightens the eye. You can use it as an all over shadow, or as a base underneath another eye shadow. Win!

I agree with the mostly positive reviews about this cream shadow. It’s quality and applies flawlessly. I’m disappointed in the color Ballet Pink as it was rather dark on my lids like a fleshy beige color rather than a light pink that would lighten or brighten the lid. I’m not sure if the color oxidized on me or what. There was also some fallout shimmer but it was rather nice. I almost purchased the “Bone” but in the pot it appeared darker than the Pink Ballet color which seemed “brighter”. I prefer light or cooler shade eyeshadows as they tend to make my green eyes pop and opens the eye. No doubt, this cream shadow can work as a base or primer but it was too dark on me.
Update 6/1/2015: I did exchange Ballet Pink shadow for the “Bone” shade which I used alone on those minimal make up days or underneath a powder shadow. This cream shadow simply melted into my lid providing little to no coverage across the lid. Also, I think this line is geared toward the younger gals who simply need minimal coverage. The jar packaging is unsanitary. I get the same or better results with L’oreal’s Infallible eye shadow in Endless Pearl.

Great as an eyeshadow base but not crazy about the pigment. I wanted a light pink eyeshadow and it doesn’t really give off any colour at all. But I still use as a base

A bit dissapointed with this colour. And perhaps i got an old one cause it’s a bit dry when i first open it. It doesn’t glide and super creasing!! I also had it in ‘Bone’ and ‘Galaxy’. Both are great though. I use Bone as eye shadow base. And Galaxy look really georgeus for nightime. So i guess this time is a ‘missed’ then. And it’s quite pricey, i still try to find a way to use it. Sometimes i use it as a base as well. But the colour is a bit ‘pale’ for me. Such a waste

I would like to say, first, that I am a big fan of this product in the Bone color. It is a staple in my makeup collection. I use it as a “primer” or “base”, and alternate with Painterly paint pot by MAC. To be honest, I’m actually not really certain why I selected a pink shadow, since I have a lot of pink in my skin, and I don’t really look good in pink and purple eyeshadow, lipstick or blush. However, colorwise, this was actually as neutral as pink can get. It is a pinky-beige. Mine may just have been the oddball, because I know I never left it open, but it was impossibly dry. I like to apply this with my fingers because the warmth of my skin makes it spread easier, but not this one. I would smooth my finger gently across the top and there would be nothing on my finger. If I was able to get enough out of the pot, it would skid unevenly across my lid, the exact opposite of what I was going for. Based on my experience with this, I was nervous about purchasing the product in a different color, Bone, but would probably go with a neutral paint pot by MAC if I needed another option in the future.

This is a cream eyeshadow with a tinge of pink…fleshy, beige pale pink color with a hint of subtle glimmer…not much and not at all obvious. This didn’t crease and I use it as a base for my dior powder eyeshadow in lifting rose palette. I gave it a four rather than a five because its tricky to apply…but oh well!

Great as a base or as subtle lid colour. In winter time this cream eyeshadow does last a decent 6+ hours. However, it creased by the 5th hour on a warm day. And in hotter/warmer days a primer is needed to prevent creasing.

Beautiful fleshy pink with very subtle gold shimmer that is not very noticeable. It does not have big flecks of glitter like the metallic shades. This is very wearable for a natural everyday look. It’s a soft pink with a hint of warmth. I have very fair skin and blue eyes, and this complements blue eyes. As with all the cream shadows, I use the brush to initially swipe it on my lids but I always blend with my fingers – I find blending with my fingers gives a smoother finish.
