terrible stuff! such a thin consistency, I have to use handfuls to cover my hair. it feels like my hair is even more tangled and dry as soon as I apply it. I gave it a few chances too, but no improvement.

I bought this thinking it would be moisturizing and help maintain my color. It is very thin and I had to use alot to cover my almost to my bra strap long hair. It made my hair feel like straw and actually seemed to fade my color fast. Good think Ulta has a great return policy. It is going back.

This has a thin consistency, but it moisturizes very well. Maybe even better than the moisturizing conditioner in the line. My hair seemed to really drink this stuff in and I like the ingredient list. My hair was left very soft with good texture. It does give a bit of weight, but it didn’t loosen my curls as much and it rinsed clean in the shower. It has a strong fruity scent that reminds me of Starburst candy. It didn’t leave my hair tangled or greasy and I feel those with medium to thick hair would like it. As far as color preservation goes, it does a decent job. I have yet to buy the matching shampoo to see if there is more of a difference.

This used to be the most amazing conditioner on the planet. The ingredients were unique to this conditioner and very high quality. Sadly, my old bottle had different ingredients on it than the current bottles do. I have just purchased a new bottle and will try it to see if it’s just as good as the old (I’m keeping my fingers crossed, but I usually know what happens after a reformulation).. But for the record, despite the smell (which was too bubble gum for my tastes but I tolerated it because the conditioning was oh-so-good), this conditioner took a back seat to nothing and no one!

Here are the ingredients from the previous formula: purified water, hexadecanol, hydrolyzed silk protein, Squalane (olive oil derived), caprylic/capric triglycerides (coconut oil), stearyl alcohol (emollient), cetrimonium bromide, plant extracts of chamomile, horse chestnut, sage, nettle, lemon balm, colsfoot leaf, rosemary, birch and horsetail, guar hydroxypropyl trimonium chloride, (natural cellulose), natural essential oils (lemon, tea tree, chamomile, laurel, peppermint, merigol & others), methylparaben, imidazolidinyl urea, benzophenone-4.

I contacted Kenra’s customer service and they responded that the formula has not changed even though the ingredients are a bit different. I am a little confused by this as the formula’s consistency seems a little different, but in light of Kenra’s reply, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and I will keep using the new bottle of conditioner and report back with my experience..
Seriously, if this bottle is still the same as my last bottle, it’s totally HG status

The conditioner works very well. It has a different scent than the shampoo. It detangles my dry, highlighted hair nicely and leaves it very shiny. I think this conditioner works better than Kenra Moisturizing. It feels smoother and detangles more easily. Again, the price is right! Kenra has some awesome products overall.

My hair is not colored – it’s highlighted, dry, fine and I have a lot of it. Their Moisture Conditioner is way, way too heavy for my hair and I wouldn’t even try their Volumizing one – I don’t need volume and it has silicone, which I will absolutely not use on my hair. So I gave this a try…it’s lighter than the moisturizing, but it’s waxy. I just didn’t like the way it felt on my hair. It felt like it had silicone, even though it doesn’t. It’s a thinner consistency, and to me it smells of bubblegum. It has some essential oils – ones that I consider pretty irritating, and this did burn my ears (I’m so weird).

Absolutely my HG daily conditioner! I strayed from this after I finished the first bottle to see if I could find something even better. That was a mistake! I wasted money trying something else only to return it the next day. It had silicones and oils and left my hair super weighed down. Then I went and bought another bottle of this stuff. It leaves my hair super soft and silky without weighing it down. I have color-treated hair and it really does seem to help maintain the color, too. I use Kenra Clariying poo once a week, as well, just to remove styling product build-up. You don’t have to worry about this conditioner building up, though. It’s lightweight, but super moisturizing. I’ve gone all winter without a trace of static and that is unusual for me. I also use Nexxus Therappe a few times a week to alternate for extra moisture. I definitely recommend this product and will repurchase over and over again.

This has a much thinner almost lotiony texture than most Kenra conditioners, but I like it. It has a bit of protein which my hair likes, but itsnt loaded with silicone which my skin likes. It also leaves my hair quite shiny with minimal frizz which is nice. I will probably alternate this conditioner with the moisturizing one since I like that too, but I’ll wait to see. I think this conditioner with the volumizing shampoo could be a good combo for my hair — I like the shampoo for this, but the volumizing was maybe more detangling.

I actually bought this by accident. My stylist was supposed to give me the shampoo because she had just colored my hair. I was too lazy to return it so I tried it and love it. I was suffering from the “flyaways” this winter and had been using a Redken leave in conditioner that was’nt doing the job. Aftr using this no more flyaways at all. It makes my hair super soft too.

Well, this product doesn’t really work for me. It feels like it leaves a weird film on my long, wavy, dry hair. I keep trying it, but the result is always the same – it makes my hair difficult to comb out. I give it two lippies because I like the smell 🙂 Edit: I have also tried this w/o shampooing first, and it seemed to work a little better.
