Waw how come I forgot to write a review about cucumber?? I used to use grated cucumber as a face mask in the summer when I was a teenager.
Then I moved countries, started using drugstore products and forgot about the cucumber.
But few days ago, my skin was looking horrible: tired, oily, all of my freckels would suddenly pop up (it is winter here, no sun!), really just a mess. So I took out a cucumber from the fridge, grated it, put a big amount of it on my face (I prefer with a bit of the Juice, even though it slips off my face, I pat it on until it dries on my face), left it for 20 mins and then washed my face.
Waw, my skin was suddenly clear, smooth, smaller pores, freckles faded much and my face was suddenly awake!
I rarely use it for my eyes but I will try that again in the future. It definitely makes your eyes look clear and ”shiny”.
Today, I tried it with grated potato (I have a review about potatoes!) and my face looked gorgeous giving the fact that for New Year’s Eve I ate a lot and drank a bit, got home late and the cucumber and potato made a huge difference.

I only used this on my eyes. I pureed 1 whole cucumber (no water added) and soaked 16 cotton pads in the cumber juice, and laid them flat in 4 sandwich bags in flat sheets of 4. I freeze all of them and take them out 15-20 minutes before I need to use them and thaw them out at room temperature. This definitely makes your eyes feel a lot better and helps de-puff tired eyes. It doesn’t do anything for under eye circles though, but I would definitely always keep these handy in my freezer. Love how my eyes feel after, enjoy!

I tried it in different ways, but it always resulted in dry, irritated, painful skin with red bumps. I washed the cucumber, cut in slices, and tried both skinned and unskinned, tried rubbing it around or just leaving it on my face. Nope, didn’t do anything good for my skin and always gave me irritation. Bummer, I love eating cucumbers 🙁

i use this for my eyes instead of my face, i think it is a GREAT natural eye mask. it made my eyes brighter! it doesnt sting when you put it on, since i only soak the juice of the cucumber on cut up cotton pads (and i only need 1 cotton pad, cut to 4 strips for 2 under eye and 2 eye lids). i leave it for 10 minutes and after i took it off, my eyes are brighter 🙂

Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth. Use grated cucumber mixed with whatever suits your skin as a face mask. This is fantastic for dry skin as well as oily. After washing your skin in the evening and before applying moisturiser, just rub a slice of cucumber over your face, allow to dry and then moisturiser. Smooth healthy skin and reputed to lighten age spots.

This vegetable has been used as natural beauty care for women for centuries. It is so so cheap, completely natural, and keep my combination area soft and smooth without clogging the pores. No wonder I always see people putting cucumber on their eyes. The effect is very cool, firming, toned, smooth, highly drenched in water baby soft skin. I love it for oil control. After a week of regular use, my pores decrease in size. Imperfections seem to fade. At a price of less than a buck for a cucumber that lasts for a week (when kept in refrigerator), why not give it a try. My mom recommend it to me. It was her HG mask.
