I love Jordana lipsticks. I have some shades that are long lasting and leave a lovely stain. At $1.50 per bullet, I buy them and leave them all over my house and car and workplace. I’ve had two different people tell me that I should never wear any other lipstick than the shade Jordana Blackberry. I buy those by the multi-pack.
However, I had trouble with the texture of Matte Red. Either the formula is too thin and therefore it doesn’t lay down a nice border along the edges of your mouth, or this bleeds on a microscopic level – I don’t see streaky bleed marks but the margins don’t look tidy. I tried applying it carefully with a lip brush and it looked much better -but it seems to have too much slip at the margins.
I love the color but I believe this one needs lip liner under it. I have not learned to become a lip liner lady yet but this one is a pretty color and I will give it a try. I will try finding a lip liner for it and update my post.
