This polish is worth full price and then some! I looked and looked for a cheaper dupe, but did not really find one. I wear it with Beauty Secrets base coat and Sally Hansen insta dri top coat. I usually do 3 coats, give it a little extra time to dry, and then I have dreamy purple sparkly heaven on my nails for at least a week. Unf.

Mimi is a royal purple with fine glitter. Such a gorgeous shade and I love anything purple so I was hooked.
The formula takes about 3 coats to be opaque because it is a crelly formula. Its very pretty and easy to apply. This color really stands out.

Mimi = HOT HOT HOT ….
Purples are my downfall big time, and this sucker is probably one of my all times favorites on the sole factor that I am ALL about the bling, and this provides that for sure in a surprisingly non-obnoxious way. It’s a true royal purple that’s neither too light nor too dark. Looks great on it’s own and even better (and easier to remove) if applied as a single coat over a complimentary shade as a base. Applies well and thanks to the glitter, wears quite well before chipping. Overall, definitely one of my favs.

I love this royal purple polish. Up close you can see light purple shimmer, and from far away it has this metallic-y foil kind of finish. Wear time is excellent if you wrap your tips with top coat. I usually do only 2 coats for full opacity.
The only real issue I have with Mimi is that some of the shimmer in the bottle looks almost gold when it’s reflecting in the light, but that gold doesn’t show up on the nail. It comes out the light purple. Don’t get me wrong. I love that light purple shimmer. I just sometimes forget when I go to put it on that the gold doesn’t show up. It’s a bit disappointing.
But regardless of that, it’s still an awesome purple!

I am actually wearing this color right now. It’s a genuine, very sparkly purple. If you have large nails, you might need three coats, but I only needed two. The whole sparkle collection is amazing.

pretty color, but it’s at least a 3-coater, and even then you might have bald spots. I didn’t have the same problem w/ brush poll that the other reviewer did. I probably wouldn’t repurchase because I have a Sinful polish (“I love you”) that gives the same effect over purple polishes, but it’s a nice polish nonetheless.

Mimi is from the Zoya Sparkle collection; it’s a deep medium-to-blue toned purple with lighter purple glitter. The glitter is abundant and fine so the finish is smooth feeling, and in low lights it almost looks like a metallic finish rather than a glitter. I adore the color–this is what I think of as a true purple–but man, did I have problems with the formula. It was a four coater for me, and I had to touch up one of my nails with a fifth coat to cover a remaining bald spot. The polish was particularly hard to handle when painting with my non-dominant hand–granted, I’m far less skilled lefty, but it really required a very delicate touch to keep each coat from pulling off the previous ones, while still adding coverage, (and even with a fair bit of drying time in between). I got quite a bit of tip pull using Seche Vite as a topcoat, and it didn’t seem to want to stick to my base of Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein–this could have been the source of my formula problems. I imagine it might perform better with a different base coat. It’s a good thing I really love the shade, because it sure was fussy to work with.
