I absolutely love this serum. It goes on very silky and seeps right into your skin. Definitely makes your skin feel so soft and smooth. I do think it is pricey but nowadays seems like all serums are. I don’t like the packaging. You cannot see how much product is in the bottle. So I never know if I am almost out. I have combination skin and this does not clog my pores. I have never broken out from this product. I also have sensitive skin and have never had any reactions. It smells wonderful too. Works excellent under makeup.

This served as a decent primer, but its just nothing to write home about. This is supposed to be age-preventing, but there’s really no way to determine if this does anything more than offer a bit of hydration for an extra fifty dollars. I didn’t return it, and I’ll use it up, but I won’t repurchase. The texture is nice – a good balance of silicone slip and just slightly emollient. I have Combo/Oily Skin and in the summer this gave me a sheen during the day, so I only used it at night. Its just “meh”!

This product is hydrating and moisturizing although, the problem with products that tout “preventative” is that there’s no way to really tell that it’s working… all I can really say is that I do not think this is helping and it is too expensive for me to try buying again.
I used this with the A Perfect World White Tea Cleanser and Toner until finished.
It is nice that it is in a pump bottle.

This product just didn’t work for me. It cost £46 and I basically found it to be a tube of scented silicone. By the end of the day it had sunk into my pores and was accentuating them leaving my skin looking very oily. On the plus side Origins gave me a full refund when I spoke to them about how unhappy I was with the product, however I would be wary to research ingredients before purchasing another product from origins.

I wanted to like this. For the first few days of use, my skin felt fantastic. However, I began getting small bumps all over my face after about five days of use. I stopped using it and the bumps went away. Again, I wanted to like this product so I tried again. Unfortunately the bumps came back again.

Love it! This serum is wonderful. The texture is so silky smooth and leaves my face feeling the same way! I am obsessed with all the great ingredients to prevent premature aging of my skin, especially all the antioxidants that are included. The smell is amazingly fresh and my skin has actually changed for the better. My pores are smaller and my acne marks have disappeared little by little. Will definitely keep using and recommend it!

I actually love this product because of the antioxidants. Smooths out skin, and doesn’t actually make me break out. I usually use tea tree oil for acne, and sometimes I put too much and my skin becomes really red and inflamed. This really helps to calm my skin down and rehydrate it without clogging pores. i feel like the silicone helps to trap the moisture in, and helps my skin heal. Overall, not the best for treating acne, but really helps heal damaged skin (even sun damage, as i’ve tried), and according to my mother, works miracle for wrinkle prevention (she’s been using it for years and years). Only downer is how expensive this product is.

This made me break out. Not the kind that’s instant and all over but the insidious, scattered pimple here and there that you can’t put your finger on, but without fail, every time I use this, I get a few pimples. It feels heavy and waxy/silicone-y never sinks into your skin, and does not play well with makeup. The fragrance is really heavy and it’s kind of aggravating to my skin. Maybe someone with more tolerance for fragrance would do ok with this.

In my attempt to remove parabens and other nasties from my beauty routine, I went on an Origins binge and picked up the Perfect World serum and moisturizer. After experiencing months of good, blemish-free skin, I applied this one night and sure enough, a few days later, I had a *monster* zit forming. This happened the last time that I used Origins, too, so although I love the company’s ethos, branding, packaging, etc, I have finally come to my final conclusion – ORIGINS MAKES ME BREAK OUT. Big time.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to return this, so I am now using the serum as a (super-expensive) hand cream. It makes a really lovely hand cream, but as you can guess, I won’t be buying the serum again. I have finally accepted my Origins defeat, no more of their products for me 🙁

Didn’t care for this. Made my skin feel waxy and I think it may have caused me to breakout. After using for a week, i returned it and got my $ back.
