Great if you’re looking for something affordable!!
The colour is not so gradual for me even after one use I have a pretty good tan, so if you want something really light make sure you apply a really thin layer!
I personally always wear fake tan and this is my one of choice. Due to the fact I fake tan regularly I don’t want to buy something expensive. This is a great product and works really well creating a good colour and great value for money and would definitely reccomend!
Not particularly long lasting but for the price I sort of expected that. Usually lasts me 4-7 days if I mosturise. (Completely useless with chlorinated water and comes off straight away)
Is quick to go patchy round the wrists and quite orange so that can be a pain.
Packaging is great the pump makes application very easy and means you can actually get everything out the bottle and get your money’s worse compared to some you have to squeeze out like dove.
Smell is quite strong, however not unpleasant but is noticeable as fake tan sort of smell. Smells of choclate/coconut/vanilla.
Leaves my skin feeling very soft and nourished for a good 24 hours after application.

This product has the worst self-tanning smell ever.

I found that I preferred this over my other selftanners, because it really hydrates and after only two days using it, I can see the difference in my skin, going from pale to slightly bronze-y. After three uses, the depth of the tan has reached the intensity of a straight selftanner, without the smell and without the lack of hydration I usually find so off-putting. Great product!

After i discovered Bondi Sands gradual tanning its safe to say this isnt a very good tan. At first i thought this is ok and what a gradual tan is. Silly of me i saw it on discount and bought another bottle ages ago. I didnt think of writing a review until i realised how much i didnt like it. I will compare this to the bondi sands gradual tan because this is what i think gradual tan should be.. now that i discovered bondi sands.
First thing is that the smell wasnt pleasent at all. Very strong chemical smell mixed with cocoa butter scent. And afterward it just smells like biscult fake tan smell.
I applied this at nigbt, slept with it ignoring the biscult smell i woke up got dressed in my shirt and went off not really noticing tan until i sat down, that is. I was so embarassedbwhen i noticed how orange i was. Not brighr orange but fairlty fake ran orange witb brown. I could not cover my legs but holy moly was i hoping no one else noticed.
The two biggest problen with this was the smell and colour. I thought thats the best gradual tan can be but i was wrong. I thought i just was lazy and slightly put off by the cons. The orange was not thag bad but i wasn dancinf around showing my tan either. It wasnt too bad on my body but i noticed on my legs, in some lighting.
The pump is always blocked by the signature cocoa butter texture when you dont use it often and the colour of the slight yellow cream turns orange brown on the outside of the pump which i havent seen happen to the bondi sands lotion.
The only pro with this is that it does moisturise well which bondi sand doesnt as well as this but ithink thats all i can say.
I havent use it since last summer and i totally regret buying that other bottle. I can safely say that i can put this gradual tan in the ‘i never stick with a gradual tan’ list of mine. This isnt enjoyable to use or wear and doesnt encourage me to use it daily. I thought i was just lazy but when i found the gradual tan i liked, ive been using it every single day since i got it!

This product is a HG product for me. I seriously am in love with it. I weirdly like the biscuity smell, its easy to apply and is really moisturising and gives a really nice colour. I like to do 2 light applications making sure I rub it in really well all over and it always turns out gorgeous. I would really recommend this product to people who are hesitant on trying/using fake tan as it turns out a really nice shade and is easy to apply. Love it.

Never buy this again because of the strong artificial smell!! It makes me feel sick! And my husband just do not close to me because of this smell!! The effect is so so.

I bought this because I liked the idea of a great moisturiser and tanner all in one application. Well, where do I start…..this gave a LOT of colour on first application! Although I did rub it in well, I must have applied too much as I looked very dark and orange and I couldn’t wash it off, so top marks for lasting power at least lol. However, if applied sparingly, I am sure this product would give a nice golden glow and it does leave your skin feeling silky smooth which is all amazing for under a fiver. I know a lot of people don’t like the smell but personally I love it. I will definitely be trying this again but will apply a thinner layer next time!

My friend recommended this to me so I bought it just to try it. I aren’t a big tanner and I’m always really scared to tan!
Firstly the smell is so nice. It’s a cocoa biscuity smell! I love it.
Secondly I put the moisturiser on just my arms to start off as like I’ve said in always scared to tan. I thought it looked amazing on my arms. However it did go a bit orange and patchy on my hands but on my arms it was great.
A friend told me I looked golden and it suited me so I’ll definitely keep using this!

After reading the reviews I had pretty mixed feelings about this gradual tan but decided to give it a go. I would class myself as a big tanner, I like to look brown. I’ve used a lot of instant tans but I’m fed up of the way they look on my hands and how they stain my clothes and bed sheets.
Firstly, the smell. It isn’t great, but hey – garner has a nicer smell and it brought me out in hives. I am more interested in the quality of tan rather than the smell. If you apply at night then shower in the morning the smell vanishes but the tan stays!
The colour. For me, after two applications I am very dark. I love it! Dove barely made a noticeable difference but this one is a lovely look, like I’ve just spent two weeks in florida (I’m from London).
The price. Cheap! Compared to normal tanning products this is a bargain!
Overall I would definitely recommend this product. It gives a lovely colour and it’s actually quite dark compared to most other tans.

I really wanted to like this, especially after reading all the rave reviews but this was just a big fat negative for me. I’m really fair-skinned so I tend to shy away from most tanning options except for the gradual tan moisturizers like Jergens. Others tend to make me look more orange and unnatural. Well this particular lotion seemed like a good option as it claims to give a natural looking tan and builds up. I found that no matter what I did, even if I freshly exfoliated in the shower before applying this, trying my best to do a thin even layer every time, this came out blotchy and and too dark on me. I’m returning to Jergen’s for this kind of thing since that seemed the most natural and foolproof. Only thing I liked about this one was the cocoa scent.
