I have this in dark brown, and the only thing I like about it is that it doesn’t have red in it, unlike most of the other brown eyebrow pencils on the market do.
In fact, it’s so lacking in anything other than ashy brown that it looks almost…gray. Which is fine if you have salt and pepper or gray hair, but what about the rest of us?
Also, it’s chalky and not really creamy. As far as I can tell, Flower has discontinued this product anyway, so maybe that’s a blessing. I’ve gotten better quality from the cheapie brand New York Color. Their eyebrow pencil in Sable is awesome, and it’s only like $1 or so.

So another new drugstore brow product aiming to be similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. I went into it with low expectations but was excited to try it. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I wouldn’t say it’s quite up to par with ABH, but for drugstore this is a pretty great pencil. Compared to drugstore it’d give it 5 stars, compared to high end I’d give it 3, so in general I gave it 4 stars 🙂 Gone are the days of shitty drugstore eyebrow pencils with no colors to match blonde hair that just draw on like an eyeliner lol. This product is waxy with decent color pay off. The only cons with it I would say the point is too fat to make precise lines or to create realistic eyebrow hairs for those with sparse brows. Also if you’re not careful it can pull “a-typical-drugstore-brow-product”, and get clumpy. Just use a light hand and make sure you use the spoolie to blend it in (this.is.key!) This product is great for days when you don’t have a lot of time or desire to perfect your brows and you just want to quickly fill them in. This along with a brow tint gel (recommend the L’oreal one) and you got some pretty good brows a la drugstore 🙂

goes on easily – last all day – need more color options

I have this in dark brown, and I like it! The consistency is perfect, but I do wish it had a spoolie.

I agree with another reviewer. This is a mess! And too waxy. It is going back! I also found that it is not a fine enough point. This product definitely not for anyone with sparse brows!

Got this brow pencil for a friend who requested it. She liked it for the same reason the reviewer below hated it. She’s a strawberry blonde and this pencil has a reddish-blonde color. She was surprised and thrilled because it’s a hard color to find.
Flower also has a brow pencil in Light Brown which MIGHT work for those looking for a Taupe.
Flower is not tested on animals and is made in the U.S.A.

I was hoping to really like this brow pencil because I have yet to find a brow pencil I like from the drugstore. Sadly, I not only didn’t like it but I REALLY didn’t like it. I have very blonde hair, have a cooler skin tone, and usually go for an ashy taupe when it comes to brow pencils. I picked up this product in the color “blonde” and the color is wrong wrong wrong for me. It has a lot of red which is not common in a “blonde” pencil. I was afraid of getting the “brown” shade because I thought it may have red in it so I opted for blonde and much to my chagrin, it was the blonde that was way too warm for my liking. I also didn’t like how it applied, I felt it came off too waxy and definitely didn’t apply smoothly over the portion of my brows that don’t have much hair. It was a mess. I would have also preferred a finer tip that can mimic real brow hairs but this product does not offer that either. The only thing I liked was that it is retractable but that doesn’t make up for the three big CON’s of this pencil: the color, the application, and the texture. I will just keep shelling out the extra dollars for Lancome Taupe brow pencil because the extra cost is worth getting a good looking brow. So… the moral of the story is that if you prefer ashy-toned colors in a brow pencil, pass this one on by. If you do like warm tones and your hair is blonde or light brown and your brows are already pretty full and nice, you may think this product fits the bill. Disappointed overall but I’m happy with some of the other products in the Flower line- so not a total loss!
