I had a bottle of this, it’s just a toner and did nothing significant for my skin, I prefer the Lancome one or SKII clear lotion

I always using this product after shower. i used it in the morning before go to work and night before i go to sleep. I use the product using my hand (without cotton) and i find it more easy to apply with bare hand than cotton. The consistency is thicker than toner in generalit was sticky when u use it first, but few seconds later it was absorb and moisten.
Pros:
– I love how the toner doesn’t make my skin oily.
– I’ve use it for a week now and i can tell there’s slightly different with my skin tone (using the emulsion too).
– absorb very quickly to my skin
Cons:
– The bottle is made from glass.
– NO PUMP! so u have to shake the bottle

Pros
-This is effective on its own. I used this alone for about 3 weeks after I ran out of my White Plus Renew Serum, and I found that the refiner helps me improve my skin tone.
-I found that I can substitute this for the White Plus Renew Emulsion. Both are same as moisturizing and contain Laneige’s Melacrusher technology.
Cons
-While the light blue glass bottle is very pretty, it’s inconvenient for traveling since it’s heavy and fragile.

i have been using it for 4 days, and i love it.
it ‘s a great toner to prepare your skin after washing your face.
the texture itself a lil’ bit thick, and nit suitable using cotton pad. i like to put it on my hand and pat it directly to face. as a toner it does a huge moistfull feel to your skin.
great toners, price is also reasonable, i always in love with laneige product.

its basicly skin refiner.. but when u apply it with a cotton puff, u will start to hate it, =_=’ because its thick consistency not match enough with cotton puff, i can say i love how it smells, somekind like fresh floral fragrance that exist in water bank sleeping pack, except how it smell, i dont like other things,, its just general toner n what it did only refresh ur skin, it doesnt help other problem, for me its pricy for a bottle of toner that u will use everyday. i use it clean for 2 months, n then need to repurchase another bottle, but i bought another product :P….. till now i dont know why its include in white plus renew line while its not whitens ur skin at all

Around two months ago i purchased the entire Laneige bright renew line to fight off the red marks that are left over from my retinoid purge.
PROS:
-This toner never broke me out
-Consistency is nice, serum like, not as liquid/runny as other toners
-Leaves the face feeling refreshed
-Lightly moisturizers
-Packaging is luxurious, although it can be a hassle to shake the product out at times
CONS:
-This is no way enhances the brightening effects of the line, i’ve used the emulsion and new serum in the line consistently, but shifted in and out of using this toner and whenever i did use it, i saw no added effect. Thus I see no use to using this toner, there are much better products out there if brightening is what you desire!
-Also the scent is a bit strong in this, moreso than in the emulsion and serum. It almost has an alcohol like scent?

Actual review date: April 4, 2010 – This toner has a slightly viscous consistency similar to that of a serum but much lighter. It’s not as fluid as your traditional toner, so I suggest pouring a small amount onto the palm and applying it directly on the face with fingertips, skipping the cotton wool pad. The main thing the White Plus Renew Refiner provides is hydration rather than whitening or exfoliating, which is fine with me since I prefer my toners to be hydrating.
As for it being a “refiner”, I didn’t notice my face softer, just more hydrated; I don’t really experience the “fresh” feeling as I do when I exfoliate when I use this toner.
As far as brightening, I’ve tried using it separately from the White Plus Renew Night Cream, and I found brightening to be only minimal, if any at all. Together with the White Plus Renew cream, there wasn’t much improvement. I’m better off using a gentle exfoliator + the White Plus Renew night cream to maintain bright skin; I can skip the refiner if I wanted.
All in all, I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing this cos I don’t really see much of a difference whether or not I use it. I only like it for its hydrating properties, but I can get that elsewhere from other toners/products.

This is the toner that comes with Laneige’s new White Plus Renew line, which is basically an upgrade of the Star White line.
This product is alcohol-free, which I love. I actually apply double toners. Witch hazel first, then this. I find that this actually does a great job of moisturizing, surprisingly. Toners aren’t supposed to do that! 😛 It also works as a good cleanser and gets rid of the debris if you use a cotton pad.
I’ve been using this for a week now, and I HAVE noticed a change in my complexion. My skin is paler, healthier. I have less acne, my scars have been reduced.
Beware though, I use this along with the Night Cream, Eye Cream and Essence so it could be any one of them doing the magic!
