I purchased this when it was on 70% sale. All the women in the store were going crazy to grab every possible item in BBW store. This was suggested to me by other shoppers and SA.
It is sold in a tube and the scent is pretty. I don’t find that it lingers long after the shower. I have very dry skin and it did feel nice, but the greasiness is a bit too thick and it felt like there is a film left on my skin and I was not expecting that and don’t like it that much. I don’t mind an oil type left behind, but this is a bit thick.
I was also told by the SA that there is some soap to it so it would feel like a good wash and scrub.
I think the sugar scrub is a bit too harsh and large but it felt nice.

Makes my skin feel so soft and moisturized. Its probably the oil part of the scrub. And the scent lingers all day long, nothing intrusive. My coworkers have commented that I smell good enought to eat! lol. I used this once a week. and sometimes, i used it before i do a manicure o nmyself, leaves my hands so soft and smotth!

This stuff is pretty mehhhh. It has a strange smell to me that I really dislike and it makes me sneeze like no other. I have no idea why, but it does. Anyway this isn’t a really great scrub. They charge too much money for a scrub that can just as easily be made at home for a lot less. This is also way too rough for my skin and makes it very itchy and irritated.

My husband bought this for me as a gift a couple years ago, and I am now on my third container of this delicious smelling scrub. When I first started using it, I thought it was too oily and I was washing with the matching shower gel afterward. But when my skin was dry over the winter, I left the oil on after I used it, and now I realize you’re supposed to. My skin feels so amazingly soft afterwards with no need for moisturizer. If you just rinse it off for about a minute, there is no oily feeling left, just silky smooth skin. Be careful after shaving though. The salt burns any cuts or nicks you might have. Will definitely continue to purchase.

This is a great product for dry skin. I love it because I can literally be in and out of the shower in 5 minutes. It smells very pleasant, not overpowering and it leaves your skin thoroughly moisturized. Absolutely no need to apply a lotion afterwards, I couldn’t believe it the first time I tried this. The salt in this scrub exfoliates very good too. This is my all time favorite bath product for the body. There are a couple of things to consider though:
-If you have cut yourself recently (papercuts, anyone?!), you might want to skip it, it hurts like hell.
-If you don’t like oil treatments on your body, not for you either, the oil in this product is what makes it moisturizing.
-If you hate sticking your hand in a jar to be able to apply the product, it can get a little messy, but hey, you’re in the shower anyway, so who cares?
Still, this is a great product, I love it!

I am not much impressed by the other Purely Silk products, but I LOVE this one 🙂 Smells awesome, and really does it’s job. It is very moisurizing, and definately do NOT use after shaving or on/around a cut because it hurts like a &*$%#^#. I do dislike how greasy it feels right after using it, but like another MUA’er said in her review, I use my warm vanilla sugar body wash directly after and that takes care of that problem. Does leave my skin very soft and smelling sweet too 🙂

I would probably give this product more lippies if I wasn’t sooo crazy over the Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Sugar Scrub, Thought I would save some $$. Sorry-doesn’t even compare.

Love this stuff – makes my skin totally soft. I didn’t find it to be too greasy or grainy; just right. And it smells great! I have it in sweet pea too!

I tried this BBW product for the first time in my favorite scent, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and I loved it. The consistency is not too oily, and the grains feel just right. My skin felt really soft after using this, and not to mention, it smelled great!
I’m coming off a major disappointment over the Body Shop’s Nut Body Scrub, so this one really picked me right up!

ive only used this on my hands in the sink they have set up at the store. and O.M.G. i fell in love. i was with my friend and we both tried it. we kept ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the softness. id purchase this, but maybe in the coconut lime verbena scent because i would want to layer the scent. anyway, i vow to buy this as soon as i have an extra 20 bucks or a boyfriend =)
