Nippon Olive is an all natural Japanese cosmetic and supplement company. While generally I don`t purchase Japanese organic lipstick products because the colors tend to be too sheer and nude for my taste, this brand makes some incredibly pigmented and bright colors. Princess Rose is a beautiful deep reddish pink with hints of blue and white. The color reminds me of Revlon`s Soft Silver Red, but it is so much livelier and brighter than that. It is an absolutely vivacious color that`s perfect for summer and spring, but I can see myself wearing it on a cold and dreary winter day, just to lift up my spirits. It`s best applied with a lip brush, as it is really opaque and the finish is a satiny-matte. The lasting power is so-so, but still pretty good for an all natural lipstick, in my opinion. There is no fragrance or sparkle and you get a pretty decent amount in the bullet for 2700 JPY. The color is what sold me on this: such a nice pop of color, much nicer than Sugar`s Coral and it doesn`t melt down on me. Definitely repurchase and want to try other shades.
