This is a gorgeous color in Bobbi Brown’s Long Wear Cream Shadow. This is perfect for a smokey eye, and/or evening wear. This is a shimmery silver color, slightly mauve toned. This would work on any woman of any color, it is a flattering eye shadow color. This works extremely well as a base under eyeshadow, the possibilities are endless with what you can do! It also extends the wear of any eyeshadow you put over it.

This was my second Bobbi Brown long wear cream shadow. My first one was Ballet pink taht I bought back in 2011 , which did not really show up and it was also very dry. This one is a totally different story and I bought it this year 2015. It is very slippery and easy to blend. It is very sheer shimmery grey so if you have some brown or red tones on your eyelids, like me, I would recommend that you neutralize that first to make this shadow to look really pretty. There is absolutely no fallout here and it is very easy to apply and it absolutely does not crease. However I do not have oily lids. I will purchase this product in another shade becuase I do not like the shimmery shade that much. But the texture is suberb.

This dries out really quickly and is so hard to blend. I hate cream shadows that drag on my eyelids, but without really rubbing it in, it’ll just stay on my finger or brush. Even with very careful application this just gets super patchy.
It’s a gorgeous color and I want to like it – every time I go to sort through my stash I keep it because it’s just so darn pretty – but I never wear it because it applies so badly. Very sad.

Indian skin tone – bobbi brown honey 5…was looking for a good long-lasting eyeshadow to have a flattering smokey eye for clubbing…this is IT! My lovely BB MUA helped me find this unique sparkly colour…I can barely describe it; taupey, silvery, sparkly (fine glitter with hardly any fall out) which turns to a smokin hot clubbing shadow all over the lid! I didn’t think this would work for my brown skin tone…but this colour works for both warm AND cool skin tones…so IMHO, everyone shud give this a try at the store!
Description: Velvety-smooth formula that goes on easily – and lasts all day without creasing or smearing. Fragrance free. Safe for contact lens wearers. Ophthalmologist tested.
To apply: For a polished, professional look, apply on clean lids with the Cream Shadow Brush. Using short, sweeping brush strokes layer color on lids for desired effect. For a more sheer effect, use fingertips to blend.

This is probably the most flattering color I’ve ever tried. I’d say, Make Up For Ever’s cream shadows last longer but I’ll never find a more perfect color than Galaxy. It’s a shimmery taupe color — not too dark and smokey so it can be worn day or night. I think this color compliments green and hazel eyes most so I love wearing this color when I have my color contacts in. Makes my eyes pop! Highly recommend.

I really like this eyeshadow. I wear it in my crease with Beach Honey all over my lid. I use Violet Ink gel liner with mascara, and it’s perfect for a daytime look. If I want to go smokey-er, I just add more. Perfect gray/pewter/shimmer shadow. Love it!

these were one of the products that when u were convinced at the counter to buy it by the sales lady cus it looked very HOT on u,, but when u get home, put it on and try to go out with it (in my case, go to school with it), u’ll be thinking to yourself “erm.. is this a little too much?!” then become self-conscious the entire day thinking girls around u r looking at ur face and thinking “TOO MUCH MAKE UP!”. that pretty much describes my experience with bobbi brown’s cream shadow in galaxy. unless ur about to go clubbing… / wants something you can wear on a daily basis during day time… purchase another shade! i recommend the shade Metallic “Opal” by bobbi brown,, very very pretty and absolutely okay for day time =)!

Last year I was very into taupe, and especially metallic taupe shades. I tested this at 2 different Bobbi Brown counters (and liked it), but both were out of it, so I swapped for it. What I have found is that this is a lovely product when new. It’s creamy, it has a taupey-silver sheen and very subtle glitter. But once its begun to dry out (as mine has), it does not go on that way. I’ve had this for less than a year, but am now tossing it and will probably not re-purchase.

This color is not what I expected at all on me…. On me, it shows up as a very cool toned taupe, with the slightest bit of shimmer. Makes my hazel eyes pop, and really brings out the green, I absolutely love it! I used this with the espresso gel liner, and my eyes look fabulous! I am very fair with a lot of pink in my skin, and this color was not too strong, and not too warm (I can’t really pull off warm colors). Love it!

This is my newest HG! The nearest Bobbi Brown counter is in a city 3 hours away from me, so when I was there on business recently, I knew had to make a special side-trip to the counter!
Luckily, the SA let me go at it and play with everything I wanted without hovering, so I got to swatch to my heart’s content. I had already seen pictures of Galaxy online, so I knew that I wanted to try it and it definitely was NOT a disappointment!
To me, it is a purpley-taupey-charcoal with shimmer in it, but not too much. I apply it on my lid to just above the crease. Lately, I’ve been wearing it with Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Cream e/s in Ivory on the browbone, with just an eyeliner & mascara and I’m really loving the look. So much, that I’ve worn the same look for a week straight!
I forgot to say that I apply it with a flat eyeshadow brush & work fairly quickly, because it does dry quickly, but the effect is really great. I highly recommend this color because it is versatile. I will definitely repurchase!
