This fragrance is magic in a bottle. I have been a perfume fanatic for nearly thirty years, and only a handful of fragrances had me fall in love instantly. Blossom is one of them. My husband really likes it, too. The official notes are: A floral-fruity composition that begins with citrus notes and red fruits, among which raspberry dominates. Its gentle floral heart includes sweet peas and roses, followed by the base of sandalwood and white musk. How I would describe this scent: It begins with a fizzing floral explosion as though every single fruit in existence has been blended together and poured into the bottle. After a minute, the floral notes start to kick in. For the next few hours it smells a little similar to Dior’s ‘Blooming Bouquet’, but with raspberries swirling around, too. Finally, it dries down to the base which is soft and clean and reminds me of old-fashioned soap but still with predominant florals—it’s beautiful. It has incredible lasting power (12+ hours), and the bottle is totally gorgeous with a nice vintage feel. The fragrance is sexy, playful, and very sweet (but not sickly sweet), and is suitable for day or night all year round. EDIT: I now own a bottle in each of the three sizes. I love it that much.
