I purchased these as I love nearly everything I got from Shu Uemura in the past. These seem to be in a similar formula to YSL Kiss and Blush. However the YSL had an ingredient that made my face and lips burn, but I gave these a chance.
The texture is wonderful, a mousse textured cream. I use these solely as cream blushes, putting a layer under my cushion or foundation. As I am NC15, I find this the easiest way to wear the brighter shades such as AT01 (neutral red). I also own CR02 and PK02… and I really want CR04 spiced orange too. Haha.

This is a lip & cheek colour hybrid released by Shu Uemura that I picked up at an airport duty free at KLIA2 when they didn’t have the YSL Glossy Stain shade that I was lookiing for, and boy was I happy I did.
I now have this is 3 shades, AT01 – a bright red, AT02 – a fuschia berry, and PK02 – a muted pink. They have 12 shades in total, and they retail for RM85 each here in Malaysia.
I tend to stay away from traditional lipstick in a tube formulas because they don’t last on my lips. I struggle to find a formula that lasts on my lower lip because of my overbite, and one that isn’t drying.
This is a semi-matte cream texture, that is kinda mousse-y and really soft, but it goes on like a matte lipstick! Amazing! I am really impressed with Shu Uemura’s textures across their products (hello, Satin Radiance stick).
The applicator is a simple and easy to use, and this does have considerable staying power. Now, this transfers like crazy, to your hands, to your coffee cup. This is not date-night friendly. But even though it transfers, there is minimal bleeding, and it stays within your lip area.
I’ve not tried this on my cheeks, but I imagine because of the texture this would go on really smooth and would blend well.
