I’m in the minority here ladies…this did nothing for my hair. Like one of the other reviewers said, I was super-excited to use this. However, my 2c curls only stayed defined for a few hours and then fell flat. Second day hair is not possible with this so i either tie my hair up into a ponytail or messy bun the next day. To be fair, I did notice tiny white flakes from the styler as I scrunched this into my hair. So its possible it was a bad batch. That said, I will not be buying again. Ever.

I’ve rarely been disappointed with Paul Mitchell products. I am on a constant search for products than enhance my curls. All my life I resisted and fought my wavy/curly hair because I never thought I had enough curl to do anything. Wrong! The last several years I’ve been letting it do what comes naturally, hence my search for product. I just bought this yesterday and used it this morning. So far so good! I like a very defined curl. I let it air dry. I put it on wet hair and left it alone except I blow dry the very top to get some height. I will update. So far I’m impressed!

I gave up being a Curly Girl for this product. After receiving a haircut, the stylist used this product on my hair. I was smitten with the potential and the smell. I bought Twirl Around plus PM Full Circle. Then I went home, washed my hair (no one knows my curls like me), and styled as usual including air dry. I was shocked by the head full of amazeball curls staring back from the mirror. Full, soft, Botticelli curls, nicely clumped and frizz-free. These curls last for days, too, if I pineapple my hair at night.

Love this product on my 2a/2b wavy hair! It does not make my hair crunchy or dry and it defines my waves very nicely leaving them soft. I have long hair and I only need to use a tiny bit on towel dried hair. Whether I let my hair air dry or use a diffuser, the waves come out very nicely with no frizz. Highly recommend this product.

So I hated this product at first because it was always crunchy in my hands…until I discovered that you have to put the lid on tight. If air gets to the outside of the product at the dispenser, that edge of the product will dry and make a tiny crunchy chunk come out in your hands. Doh! Now, as far as the product, Twirl Around really does NOT make your hair crunchy or stiff. Very impressed by that. It has a subtle scent that doesn’t overpower. I’m pretty happy with this so far, but I’m going to try the Redken Full Swirl next. I’d be willing to repurchase this.

I have shoulder length very fine wavy hair and this turns my waves into actual defined curls. The first time I used this I used a full pump and a half and that was apparently way too much because it gave me basically a dirty feeling afro. It wasn’t frizzy, it just made my hair way too big and curly for what I was looking for and felt like there was a ton of product in. I showered and tried again with only half a pump mixed with a little leave in conditioner (It’s a 10) and let it air dry. It dried the teensiest bit crunchy but that was easily scrunched out and I was left with soft defined curls with little to no frizz. I’m a hair dresser so I got this for whole sale, I’m not sure how much it costs retail but for the amount you have to use the bottle will last forever.

I have a kind of LOVE-HATE, HIT and MISS relationship with Paul Mitchell products, but I can honestly say that I Absolutely LOVE this stuff!!!
I have very fine wavy 2a/2b hair and this stuff defines and seperates my curls, without leaving my hair crunchy or greasy!
Perfect stuff, will be buying again.

THIS STUFF IS AMAZINGGGGG!!!
I flat iron my hair a lot, because when I was leaving my hair wavy/curly with its natural form, it looked ridiculous. No shape or body or anything, just a frizz ball.
This was the first product I have used that is specifically designed for defining curls and waves. And it worked a miracle!
I still don’t leave my hair curly all the time, but when I do, I put about 2 or 3 pumps of this in my palm, rub it between my hands, and then scrunch it throughout my towel dried, but still damp hair.
Now it says you can either diffuse or air dry your hair, I personally air dry mine, and just continue to scrunch my hair up every ten minutes or so. I actually shower before I go to bed, I never have time to do it in the morning, so once my hair is about 95% dry, I go to bed (my hair looks like a poodle before that) and then once I wake up in the morning, my hair ends up with these beautiful loose, beach wave looking curls. And it ends up being soft as well. I use this product in conjunction with initialiste from Kerastase, Fast Food from AG and moroccanoil light. I put all of those products in before I put in the the Twirl Around.
Overall, fantastic product, definitely will keep buying this and using it! If you’ve got curly, unruly hair, I would 100% recommend this for you! It adds excellent definition!

I’m kind of undecided on this product as it has good attributes and not so good ones.
It does help with curl formation and a litle bit with frizz but it weighs down my fine 2A/B wavy curls.
My HG is either Curl Junkie Curls In A Bottle which takes several puddles for my BSL hair but the results are fantastic (I reviewed it, also). My other HG is mixing Bumble and Bumble Grooming Cream 60% with their Texture Cream 40%. I reviwed both of those as well.

I use this along with the Full Circle Leave-In Treatment and L-O-V-E it. I have a decent curl/wave to my hair, however I have struggled to find the right product to control for frizz without being stiff. I did not experience the dirty feeling that others have complained about, so I’m not sure what I did differently exactly…Right from the shower I lightly towel dried my hair then applied one pump of the leave in treatment and scrunched that around. I then used less than 1 pump (my hair is medium-length, a bit past my shoulders when curly) of the twirl around cream and scrunched that through my hair. I let it air-dry for about 10 minutes then used a diffuser on the ends just so I didn’t go to work looking wet. Throughout the day my hair stayed curled and didn’t fall flat or get frizzy and I could run my fingers through it without messing it up! After sleeping on my hair all night, it even looks like I could just dampen my hair and it would come back to life without all of the work again today.
I was also super surprised by the price. I purchased it at a Paul Mitchell school and completely expected to pay over $50 for both products, but it was a little over $30.
