This shampoo is excellent for those who have dermatitis! I have had severe scalp dermatitis for years, so severe that one day after shampooing thoroughly with medicated shampoo my scalp would once again be full of countless scaly patches of dandruff. The patches were often huge, itchy and sticky, and would have to be scratched out or they wouldn’t budge. After two uses of this shampoo, I was able to go one full week without having a single patch or flake of dandruff on my scalp!! Although this shampoo may be on the pricey side, it really does a great job of getting rid of the dandruff with just two washes a week. Additionally, you do not need to use that much shampoo per wash, so the bottle is likely to last longer than you think despite the size. It’s really worth it. Also, the shampoo did not totally dry out my hair. Don’t expect it to leave your hair super shiny and supple though; it’s intended to target dandruff. Either way, I don’t think the appearance of your hair post-wash should be a deal breaker at all if you are struggling with major dandruff, because this shampoo really provides long-term dandruff relief.

This is the only shampoo I have found that does not make my scalp itch like crazy, and I have tried quite a few! The price is high and the bottle is small, but it sure beats scratching your head all day long. The challenge is that I have not found this for sale in the US and have had to order it internationally or rely on Amazon third party sellers, which don’t consistently have this product. When I run out, I am reminded of how much I need this stuff, because as soon as I use something else the itching comes right back. It also leaves my soft and hair manageable and gets the oil out without squeaking.

I got this for Oily Scalp instead. So do take note.
I have oily scalp due to excess production of sebum. Hence, this had led to my long war with dandruff. And honestly its starting to piss me off. I saw this shampoo and thought: this could be the one! It said it would normalize my oily scalp as well as get rid of my dandruff: YES YES AND YES.
When I got the product, the packaging was amazing. It was simple and effective. However, the horror began when I actually used it. My hair starting to fall much more than usual. I was genuinely afraid I’d have a bald spot if I continued using it.
When applying the shampoo, there was this strange texture and it didn’t feel right. It was definitely a shampoo from hell. I would give it -1 lippies if I could. In conclusion, I give you a strong word of caution if you are anywhere near considering this.

I have to say I bought this on heavy sale or I probably wouldn’t have tried it at full price but I’m so glad I did. I have since stocked up while it’s on sale. It lathers so creamily. It really clarifies my hair and puts the shine and body back into it, without stripping it at all. This really helps control the oily, itchiness at my scalp while leaving my hair soft, shiny and bouncy. Really love this, it has given my hair back it’s liveliness and balance. I think its the LHA acids that are working well for me to release the dead skin cells that oil and other nasties can cling to. I always seem to love La Roche Posay products, never been let down by that brand. Recommend : )

This is a great high foaming, oil zapping shampoo for oily scalps prone to dandruff. It is effective as a dandruff treatment and is a clear shampoo. You need a tiny amount and this really keeps my hair clean such that I get one more day, so yes I really like this. It is no fuss and does the job well. One of the best shampoos for oily tresses, so I highly recommend.

Ehh well… I was given this when I had yucky dermatitis, and while it helped, I don’t think it was THAT good for the price, it was not cheap. It left my hair feeling plastic-y and dry at the same time, It does not lather much and it totally smelled like medicine. It just made my hair crappy overall.
My hair was left cleaner and healthier when using this as a normal shampoo (without leaving it 5 minutes, like it suggests) and then following up with a mild shampoo, but now the bad thing here is that it wasn’t helping with the flakes (for not leaving it 5 mins..)
The consistency is gel-like and transparent. And the bottle is too small, specially for the price omg.
I would’ve given this a 3.5, because to be honest, it can really help your scalp if you have bad dermatitis (leaving the hair issues aside)
