As brow wax pencils go, this is okay. It’s nothing major and certainly won’t be a product I’ll be raving about to all my friends, but in terms of what it’s designed to do, it does it reasonably well.
There are a few downsides for me however. As a pencil, it’s difficult to sharpen without snapping the end off, meaning there’s the potential for a lot of wasted product. Then there’s the scent. It smells very strongly of rosemary leaf oil (which it’s formulated with), which does have a tendency to linger once applied. It’s a very herbal scent which isn’t something I would actively look for in a brow product – I’d prefer something unscented or at the very least, a little more subtle.
Finally, for the price (around £6.00) you don’t get a huge amount of product – a mere 1.46g – which when coupled with the potential for wastage when sharping, could work out to be a pretty expensive investment overall.
