I purchased this to treat acne on my chest and back after a new sunscreen made those areas break out. Normally I use Paula’s Choice 2% BHA gel, but since that’s up to $28 for a 4 ounce bottle, I decided to give this a shot since I was treating such a large area. It works pretty well and has the same amount of salicilyc acid as the Paul’s Choice. It could do without the fragrance and menthol, but for the price ($7.99 regular price for 8 ounces at Ulta), it’s a good acne treatment. Perhaps not as great as the Paul’s Choice, but since they are losing their minds over there with the never ending price increases, I’d give this a shot for a good alternative acne treatment. This does contain alcohol, which doesn’t bother my skin at all, but be mindful if you are sensitive to this ingredient. Overall, a great product.

I absolutely adore this astringent and avoid using any other type. It’s the big guns in my acne fighting regime.
It does a great job of removing the last vestiges of my makeup in the evenings, makes my skin feel firm and oil free, and of course, fights the acne.
It’s powerful, and I’ve found that if I use it more than once a day, it can irritate my skin and make me break out more, so be careful about that. As I noted above, I use it in the evenings before I go to bed, and I love going to bed on the oil-free feeling that it gives me.

For a good toner type product that helps blackheads pores and acne i would recommend this one.The smell is also great.The cooling feeling of the witchhazel is so great. In a week or two time of using this daily i really did see it helping my blackheads some they looked lighter and my pores looked better.I love this astringent.Go TRY!!!

This astringent smells so.. like acne medicene. At first i was turned off by the small but then i got sone large pimples on my chin and decided ti give this a shot. It is gelpung dry out my pimples and i like that ecen after cleansing it picks up some brown like residude that my cleanser misses.. especially in the spots i hace acne. The smell is awful tough and yes it lingers thats why i removed a lippy.

So I bought this stuff out of impulse because I knew I needed a toner and this was cheap and it looked promising when I looked up reviews for it. To my surprise, it smells wonderful, and it has a cooling sensation after you apply it. It hasn’t broken me out, which I LOVE, and it seems to be working for my skin (which right now is somewhat dry even though I have oily skin). Definitely try this stuff out! It was worth the money and I will continue to use it. 🙂

I liked this product, but what I didn’t like was that it has alcohol in it! Which can be drying for people without oily skin. So be careful when using this.

This toner works very well. It smells very strong, but is actually gentle on sensitive skin (even though it contains alcohol). This toner also contains witch hazel (which you can clearly smell) & 2% salicylic acid. I don’t have acne, but I do get the occasional break out/big noticeable pimple around that time of the month. This toner helps keep my complexion clear throughout those stressful/hormonal times. This isn’t drying either, (surprisingly), for containing alcohol. I will definitely buy this again!
