When I swatched this in store it looked liked a really lovely, pigmented shade of peach which I thought would look striking with a simple black eyeliner. At £7.00 for 2.8g it wasn’t cheap, but I was so in love with the colour I decided to treat myself!
Imagine my disappoint then when on using this for the first time at home, it turned out to be nothing like the deep, peachy shade I’d swatched in the shop. Mine was a really watered-down version, almost to the point of non-existence and no amount of layering could achieve the same colour pay-off as the original swatched version.
The other thing I noticed with this one – and certainly not something I was aware of with the one I swatched – was the scent. It smelt really, really sweet, to the point of overpowering.
Sadly, I only used this a handful of times before admitting defeat. I was so disappointed with it, that although I hate to admit it given how much it cost, I threw it away and now won’t be tempted to purchase any more shades from this collection in the future.
