I really like this sheet mask. It sits pretty nicely on my rather round face. The sheet material is good quality and not too thin. The essence is a bit milky and thicker than most masks. There is also plenty of it so I rub some on my neck and legs. After using the mask my skin is noticeably smother and it helps to reduce redness and irritation.

I’m addicted to these masks! They’re very moisturizing. There’s a surprising amount of serum left in the pouch after you take out the mask (the perfect amount to use on you neck & décolletage). I travel a lot, and these masks help rehydrate my skin after flying.

After reading a reddit.com/r/asianbeauty thread that some Korean sheet masks have appeared at local Marshall’s/TJMaxx, I immediately went to check mine. The packaging doesn’t have many Korean characters on it, so they aren’t obviously Korean, but it does have “Made in Korea” on the back. Description/Ingredients/Instructions are all in English. The orange/white box did not have a seal on them, so I opened it to check that all five masks are in the package and checked expiration date on the sheet – 2017 (2 yrs from now). I also checked the ingredients for alcohol because I know I could react to that, depending on the amount. So far, so good. I’ve never heard of this brand, but at $4.99/5 pcs, it’s worth a shot. I hoarded them all.
I popped the sheet pack into the fridge for a bit so it’s cool, it was an extremely hot day. I was surprised to find that the product was milky instead of clear, the essence was slightly thicker than most sheet masks, but still has the “runny” aspect. The sheet was extra thick, a bit heavy compared to most inexpensive cotton sheet masks I’ve tried (like MBD, Tony Moly, The Face Shop, etc), but felt soft and luxurious. The mask size fit me pretty well, length and width didn’t extend out over my hair, even with my big forehead. The eye holes were perfect for my small, but horizontally wide eyes, except for the nose area – the flap didn’t cover my nose, but that happens with almost all masks for me (I guess I have a big nose). The great thing about this sheet mask is that I didn’t have to lay down to keep the mask from sliding down my face. I was able to watch TV and play on my ipad. it didn’t slip off my face while I leaned back on the couch.
The instructions said to have it on for 10-15 minutes, but I left it on for much longer (closer to the 30min mark), until I felt the sheet was slightly dryer than before. After removing the sheet mask from my face, I patted the product into my skin until completely absorbed. Looking in the mirror, my face didn’t look much brighter, but as I was patting my face, it felt smoother. The next morning, I looked at my face again and it looked a little brighter and definitely looked smoother. I always use a toner/essence before using a sheet mask and I always use a sheet mask after using any mud masks to make sure I add moisture back to my skin.
It also smells lovely – not super heavily scented, but makes this sheet feel super luxurious, and for just $1/sheet! Amazon lists a five pack for $10 – I’m about ready to run to every Marshall’s/TJMaxx to hoard more. #donttellanyone
