2 months of use and I feel smooth, glowy, with no irritation or peeling! After stopping Retin-A last year, I have been searching high and low for an effective non-retinoid based exfoliant that could be a possible substitute. This is not 100% as effective as retinol, but it is the closest and doesn’t make me long for my Retin-A! A first! Pretty pricey for a drugstore product, but not as pricey as the other luxury serums I tried in futile efforts (SK-II, Shiseido, Amore Pacific) which produced no results. This Oil of Olay serum is way more effective, smooth and non-irritating with no reaction on my combination Asian 36-year old skin (fine lines, large pores in T-zone). I use this daily following a BHA toner (Clinique), use my Clarisonic Mia twice a week, and said buh-bye to retinol fantasies!

I love this product! This is better than any high-end glycolic acid (based on my results and what Paula’s Choice has written on it.) I’ve tried Murad and it didn’t do anything but make my skin dry.
When I use Olay’s product, my pores look smaller, my acne clears up, and any dry patches go away. I feel like it makes my skin look smoother and younger. I sometimes use this product over moisturizer like Olay’s Fragrance free regenerating serum or facial oil. It has a slightly tacky feel and shouldn’t be used during the day. You should use sunblock when using this product.
I don’t use it with retinol or vitamin c products because I am not sure if it will affect their efficacy.

This is the best glycolic product I’ve tried. I used the previous Olay fragrance free serum and it was great too. This is perfect for sensitive skin, and I cannot use anything on my face with a fragrance or I will break out.
My skin was uneven and hyperpigmented from years of birth control and sun. Now, my face is soft and much clearer. I have almost zero pigmentation and this also seems to clear up acne.
I use it nightly (except when applying Cerave’s Renewing Serum with retinol).
I would not go on vacation without out. But, be sure to use sunscreen at all times to be safe.
Even my dermatologist’s office said my face looked great – which was a shock to me, especially since it is their business to sell facial products to improve your skin.

So I don’t understand why this is not already on MUA. This is a really nifty product which I discovered on Paula Begoun’s review site. It’s highly reviewed there, fwiw, and I decided to give it a whirl.
My skin is your typical aging with fine lines and some redness. Nothing unusual, considering.
This stuff goes on kind of tingly the first time. Not harsh, but you feel it. After a few uses, that feeling mostly goes away.
It’s sort of serum-like in its consistency. Not quite an oil, not watery. In fact it’s oil free, which is lovely since I still enjoy a little acne now and again. *sigh*
Anyhow, the packaging is really cool. When you unscrew the top, it fills the dropper inside with just the right amount to put on your skin for the night. I like that a lot since who knows how much of this goop is the right amount, right?
And the results? Well, the results are pretty great. I’ve been using this for a couple weeks and my skin looks better. I’m not saying my wrinkles went away or that my skin is white as snow again, but there is definitely a difference. More glowy, less red, a little less noticeable on the wrinkles. How much more can a girl ask for?
