This is more like a brick red /Marsala kind of color. The texture of this is not as smooth as the others however it blends just as well. This is a beautiful fall blush but can be used as an every day neutral blush for WOC as well.
I would not repurchase since darker blushes aren’t really my cup of tea.

I am basing my review on the quality of the product and not the fact that the color didn’t work quite right for me. I was excited to see the new shades come out; there is still not much posted on the Internet about these–very few swatches to study. So I placed my order based on less information than I’d like during the recent Cherry Culture sale.
This is a gorgeous color: a deep warm “burnt” red. Man, is it every pigmented. Yeah, the screw on lid is sort of cheap, but that’s not what I care about anyway. I wanted a rosy in-from-the-cold look and this came close but it isn’t in the right shade family for me. I look best in truly cool colors. That said, this would look absolutely gorgeous on a woman of color. The formula is smooth, and as I say very pigmented. I barely touched my brush to the surface, and I still had to buff in some powder on top after application. i think I may have to offer this item for swap since I can’t return it. I highly recommend this product; it just didn’t work for my own pale pale skin.
