This is a good winter foundation. It has a matte, slightly powdery finish, which is good for pale skins or if you want a doll-like look. I tend to find most foundations either too cakey or too oily for my combination skin, but this one is a nice balance. It feels very light on the skin and hydrating despite being matte and providing pretty good coverage.
It’s a little pricey, but I would buy it again.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!! My new HG! I’ve been wearing Prescriptives Custom Blend foundation for over 10 years (and who knows WHAT is in this stuff?!). I’ve been waiting for the day I will have perfect skin. I’m 33 with fair skin and mild rosacea. Everything makes me break out. Well, on a trip to France 2 weeks ago, I purchased Unifiance foundation (since I love the Toleriane products so much I thought I would give their make-up a try too). My skin has looked it’s best in years. Really has cleared up and is much smoother. Maybe there was something in the Prescriptives stuff that my skin didn’t like? Well now I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to do run I run out. I only bought one bottle. You can’t get this in the U.S. I would absolutely run back to France to get more. Now I’m wishing I tried their other cosmetics.
My ONLY concern is you have to really moisturize before putting on. I notice if I don’t, the foundation tends to settle in my pores. Since this stuff dries so fast it’s hard to smooth it out. But other then that it’s great. My skin looks so good! When is this cosmetics line coming to the U.S.????????

I’m not sure why some reviewers complained of lack of coverage. IMO it has medium to heavy coverage. I like it because it covers imperfections pretty well and has a natural finish, but be careful to blend ’cause it can look streaky if you’re not careful I have this in 23 beige lumiere, but I think 22 beige opale would suit my skintone better. I may buy this again, but I’m going to try the Unifiance cream powder foundation first and see if I like that better.

It’s a nice, over the average drugstore makeup, that is much better than others of selected brands…Will buy again…

I am reviewing the unifiance for combination skin. This comes in a pretty unattractive looking plastic pump dispenser which looks smaller than most other foundation bottles but actually has the same amount inside (30ml). Its a ok everyday foundation but nothing to rave about. Looks very natural on the skin and dries to a matte finish but I really think it could be better at controlling oil. I prefer a more dewey finish so I wouldn’t repurchase. I feel it can be quite drying on the skin.

My skin is sensitive, combo to oily with slight hyprpigmentation. This is a great find! I would not consider it to be a HG foundation simply for the fact that it does not provide enough coverage, and you must pay extra attention when aplying it (blend blend blend) cause it might appear slightly streaky if you apply carelessly. Other than that it naturally enhances your complection and it truly is mattifying without being flat! Very natural and it is great to have as a backup. The price is right too!
The packaging is convenient (pump bottle) but the design is awful…very ugly! lol I can live with that since it is a good and comfortable foundation!

La Roche Posay also has some heavy duty full coverage makeup, which I’m *not* talking about at the moment (it’s called Unifiance as well, but it’s more of a creamy makeup).
When I was buying this I didn’t expect much, I just wanted to try it. I’m pleasantly surprised, though. It has light to medium coverage, great color selection compared to other brands available in Europe, and looks 100% natural. LRP claims it’s suitable for combo to oily skin (my skin is combo with dry, dehydrated cheeks, oily t-zone).
The packaging is actually pretty ugly, it comes in a pink pump bottle with a black cap. The pump of my bottle always felt oily for the first 3 to 4 uses, as if oil was oozing out of it. I cleaned the pump and the inside of the cap everytime and it’s fine now.
It can’t beat my hg foundation, Sisley’s oil free fluid foundation, but it runs a close second. When my skin is overall fine and I don’t have too much spots and breakouts, I prefer LRP. If my skin is ugly as in red, swollen, broken out, I prefer Sisley for its coverage (it still looks 100% natural so that’s why).
Great foundation, might repurchase.
