It is a dark grey, it goes on very dark (it looks like a light black). Love it! Doesn’t smudge and is close enough to black without being black, so it makes me less worried about Panda eye. It is retractable so no need to sharpen and it is easy to use, glides on smoothly.
Only problem is that if you wear it on top of eyeshadow the colour comes out a bit too light and needs a few coats. I use this in replacement of my urban decay ‘perversion’ because it doesn’t smudge.
