I wanted a dark blue and was tired of hard pencils. Tried this at the counter and it was really pretty. Not too sparkly at all. Very soft and easy to apply but for this reason, careful when sharpening! I can recommend to women of my age and I am on the conservative side with makeup.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Flazlar from Perfect weight and precise Use this on my long locks and for the purposes of detailing to new locks and my studio. Light weight and precise, a perfect touch.

Love love love this stuff.Color is amazing, deep dark blue that almost look black with gorgeous blue glitter. With some pearly white eyeshadow I’m wearing it in winter, and during the summer it looks amazing with copper colored eyeshadow (expecially on tanned skin). It’s really expensive here in Eastern Europe, but worth the money. It has amazing pigmentation and it stays on all day and all night.

Been looking for an actually good dupe of UD 24/7 LSD – which was such a promising colour and terrible quality. This is it! A bit more subtle with shimmer instead of glitter, goes on like butter, has really good staying power (all day no primer on oily lids, ALL DAY with primer), and is a beautiful flattering colour for my dark brown eyes and med dark skin. I know these reviews always ask “would you repurchase” – of my non-black eyeliners, this is the first and only one I’ve actually run out of! Brown eyed girls – THIS IS YOUR JAM

I have been looking around for a nice navy blue eyeliner for ages. Petrol Blue is the perfect dark navy eye-liner with light blue shimmer. It is dark, almost black, but the blue color sits on the blackish tone perfectly. The swatch doesn’t do this color justice!

I live these and am so happy they are permenant! On me, this shows on like a dark navy blue with blue shimmer. It’s beautiful and a wonderful alternative to black. The texture is so soft and buttery but once it’s on, it’ll stay ALL day! I must have them all!!

Its a dark navy blue, good pigmentation. The very soft formula is nice but I’m kind of put off by the too soft creamy texture of this pencil. after one use I always need to sharpened it, so if you frequently use an eyeliner better purchase two of these because it won’t last you a year.

Mmm, what a kohl. This glides on like silk with the most intense pigment I’ve found, even vs. Urban Decay 24/7 pencils! It blends like a dream and surprisingly lasts several hours on my oily lids with a primer(this is miraculous, as I get maybe 8 hours of wear out of UD’s 24/7 pencils with primer).
The best part is the color: a deep blackened blue. But it’s definitely blue. Not dark navy almost black, not blue-black, but blue over a rich blackish base with tiny blue sparkles. Simply gorgeous. It looks almost like a gemstone. A must-have for brown eyes. The only draw back is that you definitely need a primer to avoid a mess with this pencil.
I like this with Radiant Jewels lipglass from the same collection as a great night-time look. I wear it an otherwise clean-looking face for day because it’s really all you need.
MAC has managed to wow me for once– I can’t remember the last time I loved two items from a single collection! It’s a shame that this product is limited edition. Snap it up while you can!

I actually bought two of these pencils since MAC has a habit of making everything cool limited edition. I hate that. I probably should have bought more though because I am officially in love with this pencil. I was looking for a dupe for MAC’s Fly By Blu pencil from last yr that I am almost out of. I think this is really very close to that color. It’s a dark electric blue with tiny glitter flakes. The glitter doesn’t really show up for me at all so it is mostly a glimmery electric blue. It is more warm toned then cool IMO, too. It goes on like all Pearlglides, like butter. It stays on well, but if you rub your eyes with your hands it will smudge and sometimes is a little smudgey on the bottom. A good eyeshadow to go over the liner that is similar in color, which also can make it last longer without smudging, is MAC Deep Truth. Overall, this is a really awesome color!

Petrol Blue is a glammed out navy blue with silver and blue sparkles. It’s been repromoted in the past a few times but I really do feel like they should be permanent. They are soooo soft and once they’re on, they don’t budge. I recommend this to anyone and everyone who will listen, lol. One thing: no waterlining your eye with this or you may end up with a scratched eye lens!

Mac pearlglide intense eye liners really worth a try. I have petrol blue and I really love the color. It doesn’t smudge, it doesn’t transfer, it creamy enough to glide on with tugging my lids. I love this better than UD’s 24/7 cause those smudge on me badly after just 2hours, and I wear my petrol blue for over 8hours and it still look decent. I think UD’s 24/7 get too over hyped and people should get more attention on these pearlglide.
