I have dark colored hair but this doesn’t work for me. It is too pricey for the quality and really hard to apply. The brushes that come with it are useless. It’s even harder to apply and blend using those. The tweezer is also useless. There are other brow products that are more affordable and much better.

I have very dark cool toned black hair and the color looks ridiculous on me! Benefit should come up with a color that matches us “black hair” people. The powder is alright, while the wax looks very chalky on the brows. You have to press hard in order to get the pigment of the wax. Very disappointed. Try Anastasia dipbrow or brow duo. Its cheaper and better quality.

Bought this in Dark due to good reviews, but so disappointed with the colours. The darkest just isn’t dark. I have dark brown hair with slight copper sheen when the light shines on it, but this was too brown and too red. With only three colour choices, this just isn’t a good range for so many people! Shame, because the product gets great reviews and the formula and staying power look really good. I hope they bring out more colours – I’d try if there were better colour choices. For now, I took this one back to Boots for a refund.

The tones are too warm for naturally dark hair, looks a little fake by the edges, other than that super travel friendly, the wax is good stays on whole day, the brushes are just fine, the tweezers could have been better on quality. The product really does not stand up to the price but worth a try.

I love this product! I have tried a few brow pencils and used to actually use eyeshadow to fill in my brows but not anymore! I started using this product maybe two years ago, and have so far repurchased once. I think the palette I have is from last year (or maybe even late 2014?) so I am very satisfied with the product and price since it lasts for so long.
There is actually a lot of wax that comes with it, and for me I usually just use more of the powder to fill in my brows since they are not that unruly. The powder provides great coverage for my brows and the color blends almost perfectly with the color of my eyebrows. The color I have is a slightly darker shade of brown but that is because my hair is slightly darker than my brows are currently. I wish that it came packaged with less wax and more powder!
The palette also comes with two mini brushes and a mini tweezer. The tweezers are amazing. I love to use them to pluck the little stray hairs. They are very good quality and I like them better than some of the regular size tweezers I have. As for the brushes, I prefer to use a regular sized angle brush to fill in my brows with the powder and the wax. I find that the little brushes that come in the set are too small for me to properly use.

I agree with what other posters have said about the color. BeneFit used to offer this in a true neutral dark shade but now it’s reddish brown. Terrible for folks who have true black hair. It looks awful on the skin and very unnatural. Wish they would bring back the original dark shade of powder.
Oh and God help you if you drop the compact on a bathroom floor, as I have done half a dozen times. The powder is not tightly fixed in its pan at all and it will shatter into a thousand pieces/grains and is a holy mess to clean up. There’s no saving the powder after that; you just have to pitch it and then you have just the wax.

I’ve been using this product for over a year now and have only just finished up my first one! I was initially on the market for a new brow pencil as i wasn’t into the very full brow look just then, so there i was in my local benefit counter having a look when one of the staff recommended the brow zings, i was slightly hesitant to buy but i did anyways!! and now i’ve been using it ever since, i can’t recommend this product enough! you can create a thick full brow or a more subtle natural one all with the same duo!! Now do try out the colours on you in the store as the staff recommended i used medium but i found dark worked much better and its also a lot cooler toned than medium so take that into consideration but i would 100% urge you to purchase this product!!

The most fabulous brow kit on the market…..comes with all the tools you need to create the perfect brow. Comes in light, medium and dark so there is something for everyone as always with this brand. The product literally lasts if used every day like I do approximately between 9 months to 1 year!!! Such a good purchase, excellent quality, even when I was caught in the most horrific rain fall in the centre of London hailing a taxi cab down my brows remained in tact! I actually cannot be without this product, it is a staple in my makeup kit.xxx
