I completely concur with the humorous and spot on review below. I don’t buy into the oxygenating claims but I LOVE this moisturizer. If I could just rate how it feels on my skin and how well it moisturized my skin, I’d easily give it 5 lippies, Heck, 10 lippies. All the lippies! This does not have SPF. Therefore I’d consider it a night moisturizer.
I got this deluxe sample tube (note that full size comes in jar) from Sephora a long time ago, apparently — they don’t sell it anymore. I finally used it last night cuz I was out of my regular moisturizer. This stuff ROCKS. Hands down best moisturizer I’ve used yet (I’ve tried several from Philosophy, Origins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, etc). It felt soooo good, so richly emollient, but non greasy. Once it soaks in and the scant few little ‘vitabeads’ dissolve into your skin, it has a velvet feel. Woke up this morning and skin felt and looked even more amazing. If it has a fragrance, I did not notice. As for the “GLOW” in the name of the product — THERE IS NO SHIMMER. Which is good. I put off using this so long cuz I figured it would have some gimmick like shimmer.
The bad news: right now at Ulta this is ridiculously priced at $64 for 1.7 oz. Yes I know lots of moisturizers are even more expensive than that. I’m just not used to spending that much for a moisturizer. I said that I would buy it “again”. I may see if I can buy it directly from Bliss @ blissworld.com if they offer a % off first orders. If not, as freaking wonderful as this is, I may keep trying to find a less expensive dupe.
Bottom line: this is a superb but imo overpriced moisturizer. If you can get a sample of it, jump on that. If you are used to spending more than $64 for a moisturizer, try this. You’ll likely think you’ve found a bargain HG, lol. That said I really think there is something else out there that works similarly for a far lower price and I intend to find it by examining the ingredients.
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua/Eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Prunus Persica Leaf Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sorbitan Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Coco-Caprylate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Butylene Glycol, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-23 Glyceryl Distearate, PEG-12 Glyceryl Dimyristate, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Cetearyl Olivate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Jojoba Esters, Sorbitan Olivate, Maltooligosyl Glucoside/ Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Carbomer, Titanium Dioxide, Potassium Sorbate, Mica , Perfluorohexane, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Perfluoroperhydrophenanthrene, Perfluorodecalin , Retinyl Palmitate, Tin Oxide, Ethylbisiminoethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride, Erfluorodimethylcyclohexane, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Talc, Red 30 (CI 73360), Red 33 (CI 17200), Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Limonene, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional.
Editing to add: I spent some time investigating the ingredients and it looks like Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride may be the magic ingredient. The Beauty Brains suggested two other products based on that ingredient that I intend to try in lieu of shelling out for the Bliss product: Credentials Collagen Elastin 14-1 Creme (currently $18/2 oz.) and Hyaluronic Acid Beauty Cream (from vitaminworld.com) (currently $24.99 / 2 oz.).

My original review on this cream is below. For this review I have updated the ingredients list, and I will comment on the new formulation since Bliss has been reformulated and majorly lowered their prices. This product is now called Ex-Glow-Sion Super Rich Moisturizer for Dewy, Radiant Skin. It has given up any claims to add oxygen to skin (maybe because anyone with any sense does not want their skin to oxidize?). There is no Perfluorodecalin in this current formulation, which is why there is no claim to “add oxygen”. This moisturizer no longer has “vitabeads” either. Sadly, that was my favorite part of it. This new formulation feels like any ordinary moisturizer…not even as good as many others feel. It does not sink into my skin, but stays tacky. This has a “glow” in it that reminds me of the “glow” from Guerlain Meteorites. It’s rainbow colored, and it looks really pretty. This is a greasier than the old formulation. I would have been so happy if this was the old formulation, or at least similar to it, because it’s literally $50.00 cheaper. Sadly, it is a completely different product, that doesn’t feel anything like the original Ex-Glow-Sion.

I know that this is a product that Paula Begoun, The Beauty Brains, Futurederm, etc. would laugh off the market, if such a thing were possible. I know that Bliss products have off-putting names and make preposterous, patronizing claims. This moisturizer has delusions of being able to add oxygen to skin (in a way that would not cause oxidation, of course), because, apparently oxygen on skin fights the effects of air pollution in skin…? No? I don’t get it either. I don’t happen to have a handy pressurized hyperbaric chamber to hang out in while my cream soaks in. Oxygen is a gas, so it cannot be present in a cream, anyways, but Bliss wants customers to believe this cream puts fresh clean air…in their skin…via cream. In addition to the oxygen (perfluoradecaline, perfluorohexane, perfluoroperhydrophenanthrene, perfluorodimethylcyclohexane), this has “Vita Beads”, which is apparently the technical name. The vitabeads are supposed to work with micro-algae as they are massaged on skin. This brightens skin. I could probably get a similar effect with cat litter mixed into Noxzema. The thing is, I really like the way this moisturizer looks and feels on my skin. Though I know it lies to me, I expect nothing of it, other than a pleasant exfoliation sensation as I massage the cream into my skin, and the feel of buttery soft skin after the cream sinks in. This has a nice “blur” air-brush effect, and it’s completely grease free. It’s overpriced, and it’s in a jar. All bad. But I like it anyway.
