I’m going to illustrate the pros and cons of this product, pros listed first.
1.) high quality skincare ingredients
2.) luminous finish, perfect for dry skin
3.) lasts all day without becoming patchy
4.) high SPF
5.) perfect for very light and light skin tones
6.) convenient for travel and TSA friendly
7.) only ~ $16 USD on Amazon, Prime eligible ( 2 day shipping)
8.) comparable in performance with much higher priced items
9.) neural to yellow toned
Cons:
1.) heavily fragranced, so if you’re sensitive might be an issue
2.) only 2 shades meant for very light and light skin
3.) likely too heavy for oily skin types
4.) those in warmer climates might have to store this in the fridge; it WILL melt and not just on your skin
5.) brush at the end is kind of useless; better coverage with a blending sponge or foundation brush
6.) might flash back in photos due to the SPF
7.) might be too yellow toned for some
About me: combination to very dry skin ( in winter), NC 20/25 in MAC speak and I find 23 ( Natural Beige) suits me when I don’t have much time in the sun. The other shade, 21 ( Light Beige) would work for say, NC 15/20 ( I’m guessing on that.) I have more mature skin with fine lines here and there; at 44 I am not going to have the collagen turnover of a 20 year old. It gives me a flawless, luminous finish and my skin stays hydrated all day without getting oily in my t zone. With the skincare ingredients it contains I could ostensibly skip moisturizer and primer. My skin is sensitive and I have not reacted to the fragrance or anything in it nor has it caused any blemishes ( I don’t often break out but get them if my pores become clogged.)
I have been traveling out of state and this is incredibly handy to bring with me and it takes no time to apply. Were this sold at Sephora it would sell for 4x the amount; currently it’s on par with drugstore foundations in terms of cost.
I’m incredibly impressed and plan to venture further into K beauty.
