I’ve tested out over 20 popular eye-creams and serums (I’m a beauty blogger), and can honestly say this one is still the best I’ve ever used. As a 32 year old, I don’t have many wrinkles yet, but have very puffy, dark circles, and nothing has ever helped quite as much as this one (am at the end of my second bottle). I recently got sent some other eye creams for review, and tried those out for several weeks. I just couldn’t wait to get back to this one though, since I soon saw a drastic difference in my under eye area after not using it for a while.
For more on my thoughts, I wrote a review about it a while back:

LOVE it. my eyes look less droopy when I use this. its also really good for sensitive eyes. most other eye creams irritate my eyes or make the skin around my eyes burn. ive tried so many eye creams and this one is by far the best. it is a staple in my skin care routine. expensive but a little goes a long way. and the best part…. they don’t test on animals : )

I received this as a sample, decanted it into a container, and used it for 2 weeks.
It’s not very moisturizing, and I don’t usually need very much for my eye area. I never noticed a brightening effect when applied (it’s even slightly tinted but still, no effect). Overall I wouldn’t recommend it nor would I buy it. In fact, I’d not even bother using it as an eye cream should I receive it again. It’s not moisturizing enough nor does it have any immediate effects for dark circles.

I’ve used this product for 4-5 years. It works for dark circles, and it helps with showing lines. I use it at night. I’m 41, and now I’m beginning to see crow’s feet, so I’m trying to find the perfect day eye cream. This one is pearlized, which helps disguise dark circles (besides the vitamin K which really targets them!), but doesn’t mesh well with my concealer during the day. Depending on my cleanser, the skin around my eyes can appear dry and crepey, so I need extra daytime moisture. Besides that, this makes my eyes look great at night and when I wake up, and I love it.

This is hands down the best eye creme product I’ve ever used. Not why sure why Hydropeptide hasn’t gotten more attention on this site, but all their products are great. I’m 29, with chronic under eye circles and have never found a product that is able to alleviate this problem. The eye concentrate contains vitamin K (fights dark circles), retinol (anti aging), and a slew of awesome anti aging peptides, plus it brightens the area somehow and lasts about 3-4 months when using 2x daily (for about $60, I think it’s well with it). And even when the pump runs out, if you break it open, usually you can get about another 2-3 weeks of product out. After using it immediately, morning puffiness is gone. Dark circles are less. After a few weeks, dark circles are about 50-60% less. Skin is well moisturizer, and keeps the wrangles away. I’m not sure how it works on wrinkles, since I don’t have any yet, but I would imagine it’s great for wrinkles too since it has eye safe retinol and peptides, and that’s just about the best you can get with a product. I love this product!!

Since I’m in the 50-60 age bracket, I thought this would be an excellent product to try even though I don’t have alot of lines but do have some puffiness and bluish coloring under my eyes. It is a very thin lotion type product and worst of all, it felt like it was burning and then definately made my eyes water within 20 minutes. I looked in the mirror and it actually looked like it emphasized the area under my eyes more than anything else. I had put alittle under the brow area intially and now it looked as though that area was swollen, so yes I rinsed it all off immediately. I will return this product. It actually had been recommended by a esthetician. If you decide to try it, make sure you buy from a place where you can return it and get your money back.

I like this eye cream a lot! It has a great texture and applies easily (and you don’t need much). I do not have dark circles, so I cannot comment on that. That said, I really wanted to review the Hydropeptide Intensive Creme and the Serum, but there are no reviews of those yet. How come? I think they are pretty fabulous (been using them both consistently now for about 2 months). I wonder why this line has not gotten more attention on MUA…

I received a sample of this product with my recent skinstore.com order. It is a very lightweight eye cream, almost a lotion texture in fact, with plant oils, butters, humectants, peptides, and antioxidants–and rather inflated claims that I don’t think the product can begin to fulfill: It claims that with longterm use, the product will reduce dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, age spots, and broken capillaries. This is a very tall order, despite the very long ingredients list, and I’m always skeptical of such grandiose claims. Since I used a sample for only a week, I can’t say for sure that this product won’t do all that; I just have my doubts. In addition to providing light moisture to the eye area, what this product does do, thanks to its light-diffusing properties, is cosmetically reduce the appearance of dark circles and other discolorations in the eye area. However, the product also stung sometimes when I applied it, and I know I can find another eye cream with light-diffusing properties for a lot less money. Therefore, I have no intention of purchasing this product.
