I usually wear my hair as a twist out and sometimes my roots begin to straighten after a few days. I apply this product to my roots and they spring back to life. This product has saved many a 5 day twist out. I would love to repurchase but they changed the formula and added a lot of alcohol.

HG!
This jelly moisturizes, defines my curls and eliminates frizz.
I get no flakes and no crunch.
It is the best leave-in that I have ever used (and I have tried a lot of products)!
Edit 21/07/12: Still loving this!!! Best leave in ever!
Edit 08/05/2013: So sad, Aubrey Organics changed the formula and my hair is not liking this product so much anymore 🙁 WHY Aubrey????
Changed my overall rating from 5 to 3 lippies (it’s just an ok product now) and I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing.

This works best with the B5 gel for me. I use this on damp hair first (only a little at a time – I used too much at first) and then add a little of the b5 gel. Wow..my hair is shiny and soft and actually looks in control. I have highlighted to death dry hair that frizzes. This is making it look so great right now – can’t believe it. No artificial ingredients and no cones to build up in my hair. I don’t think that I will ever purchase main stream chemical products again – finally all natural that works!!!

I love this product! It has so many different uses for me that it has to be the most versatile product I have. I have very curly hair and I often use AOMM to add moisture. If I’ve used a leave-in and curl cream, I’ll add AOMM as the top layer or will mix it with a harder holding gel if I need more hold. In the winter, it provides enough hold for me but I think I’ll need to mix it with a firm hold gel when the humidity of summer kicks in. I sometimes mix AOMM with another product (thick, sticky gel) to make that product easier to distribute.

I really loved this. It smelled ehhh to me but the scent didn’t linger and was light to begin with.
The hold is very soft and minimal, so if you need real hold, this isn’t for you. At the time I needed very little hold, so I loved it.
It never dried my hair out, and left me a little shiny too!
The only reason I haven’t and won’t repurchase is that I need more hold and I have to make special trip to Whole Foods for it. Just doesn’t serve a useful role for me anymore.

I’ve loved every Aubrey product I’ve used, but this is the best. I use it practically everyday, regardless of how I’m styling my hair. Works to smooth or define curls, and I get little-to-no crunch. Absolutely AWESOME.

For reference I have 2c/3a loose curls, coarse, dehydrated and thick.
I purchased this online from “feel great organic” (a Canadian organic e-tailer) because I could not find it at my local whole foods and planet organic.
To style my hair I use AG: Recoil and Biosilk RHG. I’ve been using this combination for the past 4 years and I love it. Truly HG! Anyway, I was curious to try Mandarin and Gingko Moisturizing Jelly because it’s been praised on the boards at naturallycurly.com. When will I learn not to mess with a good thing??
This stuff just doesn’t work for me. Caused flakies and made my hair feel dry?! It also made my curls/waves lifeless and limpy. I can’t see how this could work as a gel since it has no hold either. I’m still going to try and see if I can get it to work somehow but so far it seems pretty useless.
I give it a 2 for it’s “all natural” properties.

This product is amazing! It controls my very think, dry, wavy hair under control without being crunchy or drying it out AND gives amazing shine… oh AND it smells amazing!

I have thick, somewhat coarse, slightly wavy hair, BSL. This is a great ‘all natural’ gel. It smells wonderful, with a faint scent that doesn’t clash with other hair products. What I love is that it doesn’t make hair feel crunchy or stiff, and doesn’t flake or build up. If I put this in wet/damp hair and airdry, I get very shiny waves. It adds a bit of weight, which my hair needs. For fine hair this might be too much…or, just use a tiny amount. On my thick hair, I still only use about a nickel size or less…a little goes a long way. Highly recommended if you use gels. I’m about half-way through my first bottle, probably will buy again.

Fantastic for my thick naturally wavy/curly hair – leaves it soft and defined after airdrying, but no crunch, stickiness or product flakes. My only complaint is the spout gets crusty and I have to consistenly clean it off so the product comes out – but that wouldn’t and hasn’t detered me from buying more. Less than ten bucks at your local organic market.
