I`ve always wanted to try that Kat vonD Shade & Illuminate palette, but sadly that brand is not available in Japan and having to deal with Sephora`s anal retentive restrictions for overseas deliveries is a pass for me. So on my quest for good matte colors I came across this palette from Skinfood, an organic Korean brand. It`s more reasonably priced than KVD, the color payoff is pretty decent, the formula contains moisturizing ingredients and ceramides, it lasts well without primer, blends like a dream and looks great on pale complexions. There is no fragrance at all in this. The only cons for me are that the highlighter shade is kind of mediocre and that the packaging is a cheap plastic “kids` toy” thing. Still, the case is light enough to slip in your make-up case and take along for travel. The colors are great for every day, natural looks and the colors are really forgiving to mature lids. There is also a slight kick when you put your brush in the pan, but nothing major. Would totally repurchase this, cause it`s good value for money and so easy to use.
