I really miss this product I used it along with and prior to total effects 7 mature therapy moisture plus. I loved how it made my skin look and feel. The only problem I had with it is that i would run out too soon. Now my problem is I can’t get it anymore

It is very very great.

I would buy this product again in a heartbeat. It softens my face and gives a good glow. Though this is a treatment product, I find this foam moisturizing enough that i just apply my sunscreen right on top and skip any creams. Great buy!

I have to agree with ‘kamsmorg” review on this one. This was the first moisturizer (why do they call it a treatment?) that made my makeup look very fresh all day long. Put it on at 7 a.m., come home at 7 p.m. and my face looks as dewy and fresh as if I’d just put on my makeup. I sort of hate to wash it off at night, it looks so good. When’s the last time THAT happened to you? But it IS spendy for drugstore fare ($26 – $30). I waited until it went on sale….and then used an Olay coupon I found in the Sunday newspaper.

In the first two months of using this product, I loved it. It was great under my makeup, made my skin smooth and really hydrated my skin. After about 2 months my skin got very irritated and red. My friend suggested that maybe the “regenerist” part was beginning to happen. Well, that may have been the case but I’ve practically been scratching my face off! Maybe because some of the ingredients others have mentioned, maybe bc I have sensitive skin, I don’t know. Either way, I stopped using it (along with the Deeply Penetrating foam cleanser) a day ago and my face is starting to feel a little better. We’ll see what happens in a few more days. Like I said, I loved it at first and really did hydrate my skin. Maybe this is better left for ladies with less sensitive skin 🙂

I am in love with this product, I have been using it for 2 weeks and the results are awesome. I have never had luck with Olay, so I was affraid, but so glad I tried it. My oily skin is no longer oily, seriously it keeps my skin so hydrated yet not oily, for the first time ever in my life my makeup stays on all day and looks great. I don’t break out and I’m prone to it, and it seems to help with wrinkles and brown spots. My overall complextion looks great. I have already recamended this to my friends, wish it was cheaper though, as it was close to $30 where I live

On the fence about this one. I always research the ingredient list for every product I plan to put on my face, so am I the only one that is a little put off by the fact that the moisturizer has “ISOBUTANE & PROPANE”? Maybe I am just quick to react because apparently there are alot of skin products out there with butane and propane in them (stuff in cans basically) just seems like these would be an irritant to delicate facial skin. Anyway, I overcame my fear temporarily and tried the product last night and this morning. First impressions? It’s decent, little sticky after application but dries to a soft finish after a few minutes. I also notice that my skin has a nice glow to it, I assume it must be from the mica (also in the ingredients, fyi). This morning however, I mixed a tiny bit of the foam with my cream foundation and wow, it made a really nice sheen, not to be confused with shine, to my skin. Almost an etheral glow from within, I really liked that. Anyway, I am not saying this is terrible, but I am not saying it’s wonderful either hence the “on the fence” comment :-). As long as it doesn’t irritate or break me out, then I will keep using it, if for no other reason just because it made my foundation look so great but not necessarily as a moisturizer. **UPDATE- I never have luck with olay products and should have known this one would be no different. There is just something they put in their products that doesn’t agree with my skin at all. I believe this culprit in this little gem must have been the mica because I noticed that I was getting alot of clogged pores and my skin just felt like it coudnt breathe. Guess I’ll get back to my beloved, all be it expensive, Kate Sommerville Deep Tissue Repair

I’m surprised at the good reviews for this. I am not generally an Olay fan, and this was an impulse buy on sale at Ulta. I figured I would use in on my neck, considering it’s supposed to be a “reversal” treatment. I used the whole can, well actually at least until the foam got stuck in the nozzle and stopped working, and it really didn’t do a thing. I used most of it as a hand cream, and even then, no biggie. Another one of the over advertised, over hyped Olay products.

I love this stuff! Finally, a moisturizer that works for under my makeup. I have oily skin, and atypical dermatitis…..and no rash. I could be crazy, but I feel like it takes the puffiness out from under my eyes! My skin is smoother, has better tone and color, and less shine! (at night I wear a serum under my eyes, also).

I was looking around for eye cream and found this one on CVS weekly circular. Though this is not advertised as eye cream, I wanted to try this as I don’t want to spend $$ for 0.5oz eye creams. Anyway, I can’t find the physical bottle at nearby CVS so I checked on-line and found at Harmon with only $6.50. I purchased 3 bottles because the price is much cheaper than CVS advertised sales price at $23.99 per bottle. I didn’t mind paying $5 shipping from Harmon for this price. (BTW, no Harmon in DC, just their store bands at Bed, Bath & Beyond beauty centers.) Please note that some websites (including drugstore.com) advertised this as cleaning foam, but this is NOT for cleansing. The size is 1.7oz and made in China (keeping my fingers crossed).
Anyway, here’s the review:
Texture: Very light foam and spread well on face. Noticeably lighter than Definity foaming moisturizer. Don’t feel anything on my oily face. I am glad that this is not greasy at all. Mica is the last in the ingredients list so barely visible with normal eyes. Less visible than Quench body lotion. I prefer without mica in skin care products (minus one lippie for this reason).
Scent: Very light scent, similar to other Regenerist products but lighter than most Olay products I’ve tried before.
Packaging: Pretty red can with pump and cap. See pictures (links below). Shake well though. No excessive packing like Definity.
Result: It’s early to tell whether my lines are disappeared as I just started using it in a few days. I’ll update a week later whether I got zits or other side effects. (9/11/08: No breakout or side effects.) I’ll also update a month later about 4 tiny lines under my eyes. I don’t have other visible lines on my face YET! I’ll be 35 soon and started seeing a couple of white hair so I’m expecting to see some more lines on my face as well. I’ll try to take care of them and try not to worry much 🙂 Since I’d already purchased 3 bottles, I would not return them unless I get breakouts.
Ingredients and other claims on package: see these pictures:
Update 10/6/08: I am surprised that nobody else writes review yet. I am still in love with this foam though my existing fine lines are still on my face and so do freckles. This is a good moisturizer for oily face.
Update 3/29/09: I’m middle of my second can (can’t see how much left though) and no breakout or other side effect. I’m using both days and nights these days. I’ve clear skin and my face looks good without MU. No more lines yet! Not sure I can give full credit for this Olay but for ~7 bucks, I’ll keep buying.
