Since this foundation comes in a spray canister, it gives the impression it’s used like airbrush foundation. It’s not, and the instructions make that clear: you spray it on a brush, sponge, or hand and apply. If you directly spray your face with it, you’ll have a drippy mess.
Pur foundations are all best suited for oily to combination skin that’s more oily than dry, and it works like a dream for these skin types. Dry skin (like mine) won’t be happy as any dryness will be magnified, as will fine lines since it’s a thin formula that sets fast. Any acne bumps will look drier and will show more, so I recommend applying a little Vaseline to such spots before or after (if before, be careful blending over these areas so you don’t smear them.)
Application is sheer, but the coverage is excellent, impressive, & buildable. The formula is sound and if the hefty price tag is no issue, it’s worth checking out. I strongly recommend trying it in the store to see how you like it. Coverage & mattifying isn’t as strong as UD’s all nighter (which is like glue & requires a clarisonic to clean if you don’t want blackheads & enlarged pores over time), but it’s lighter too and less drying. Definite good choice for oily skin.

Well for background I have combination acne prone skin that runs oily (even in the cold months of dear oh canada )…
I really enjoyed their pressed powder for years . But then they changed the product and it broke me out 🙁
I have to say I have repurchased this and find it to cover my old acne scars quite well and doesn’t break me out (bonus)
The only downfalls are price, longevity and it transfers! ( my winter coat , scarves etc.
All in all a good product.
But still on the quest to find my forever foundation

I though this was interesting foundation at first, i like to have a light weight foundation with a medium coverage. This is very very light weight but i need a couple of layers for my preferable amount of coverage. I got the shade light, but its a hint to fair for me but i still work with it. I also recently discovered this goes great with a bb creme underneath! I like this product and will use it until i run out of it because i don’t want to waste it for how much money it was but most likely will not buy again. I wouldn’t recommend for oily or combination skin, this foundation has without a doubt a dewier finish.

Very interested to try. Full review at my YouTube @styledlady4ever below. Very light texture with full coverage. Only thing is a bit messy; apply over sink. Loved it. Skin looks flawless. Purminerals has approved & shared. ðŸ‘ðŸ»

I got this in the shade medium. I was cruising through Ulta and happened to not be wearing makeup that day. Of course I got stopped by a csr and asked if I wanted a makeover… Free makeover?! YASS Please! The way she used this was pretty cool. She applied it over another foundation. It looked reallly good. Airbrushed and almost flawless. It lasts all day too which is a plus… The only reason I put no for a repurchase is because I got a bogo. So I have two. I won’t need it for a while. (Hopefully since its hella pricey) I use it over my trusty colorstay and it sets it. I still do use powder though. She also got me with skincare. The line is pretty great but that’s for a different review.

I saw this in the store at Kohl’s, but it’s $39. That’s way more than i’m willing to pay especially when i am quite happy with my Lumene CC. However, i managed to find this online for under $20 and I LOVE it. It’s a spray foundation and i tend to prefer BB or CC creams, but this exceeded all my expectations. It is not tested on animals which is also a requirement for me. I am very fair skinned with dark hair but I got this in Medium instead of light. It comes out beige but once you rub it in it adjusts to your skin and for me, it gives me a slightly darker skintone without looking like a mask. It also gives me a very airbrushed and smooth look even without primer. It’s also very loghtweight and dries fast. There is not much in the can, and i would not pay retail, but due to the airbrushed effect, this is my new favorite. If you can get it for half price I highly recommend it!
