OK in terms of softening and smoothing my skin, but alas it made me break out — not terribly, but enough to make it a deal-breaker. At least I can use it as a neck moisturizer until it runs out.
EDIT: Well, I THOUGHT I could use it as a neck moisturizer but I broke out on my neck, too! So now it’s just a very expensive so-so hand moisturizer. Boo.

Overall, I give this product 3 lippies. Like the moisturizer well enough but there are others that available at less cost and better packaging and accomplish the same thing for my combination, 50+ years old skin. It’s OK, but a little heavy feeling. Dislike the package. Product hardens in the dispenser like a clogged pore.

To be fair, I would say it is an ok moisturizer. It did not break me out, but the smoothing effect is not as good as the skin refinish. I’ve only used it at night, and the texture is on the heavy side for my combination skin.

I’ve been curious about malic acid and mandelic acid for sometime now, but I was wary of trying them because my sensitive skin hates glycolic acid. Finally, though, I decided to give this product a try. It is an unscented, lightly moisturizing cream. I was pleased to discover that it made my skin smoother without irritating my skin, but unfortunately, it did make my skin breakout. I’m also not a fan of the jar packaging.
