Probably my favorite asian sunscreen as of yet! Dries to a lovely semi-matte finish after a minute or two, and doesnt make me as oily throughout the day as other sunscreens. Compared to one of my other favorites, Biore aqua rich watery gel, it is slightly more hydrating and doesnt cause my skin to flake in the cold dry winter without causing my skin to look more oily (somehow my skin is less oily at the end of the day with this product than the biore one). The texture is like a siliconey milk, or a very light lotion–not heavy at all, and wears very well under makeup. Does not make me break out, which is a huge bonus because many thick american sunscreens break me out.

Product description: This sunscreen is a blend of moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients using red fruits to keep your skin moisturized and prevents it from drying. Fresh from the moment of application, it has the feeling of watery essence. Removable with soap.
Ingredients: water, alcohol, octinoxate, DPG, isodecyl neopentanoate, diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, polysilicone-15, hydrogenated polyisobutene, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, TEA, ceteth-10, polyacrylate-13, carbopol, polyisobutene, tween 20, sorbitan isostearate, tocopheryl acetate, vitamin E, dog rose oil, cowberry extract, dextrin, grape leaf/skin/seed extract, resveratrol, maltosyl cyclodextrin, cyclodextrin, maltose, ascorbyl dipalmitate, disodium EDTA, BHT, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylparaben
Cosdna:
Pros:
– good cost performance (about 800 yen for 50g)
– high sun protection, SPF50+ PA++++
– creamy out of the bottle but watery on application
– slight alcohol smell that dissipates but otherwise no smell
– product is white but leaves no white residue
– shiny on application, takes 5-10 minutes to absorb to normal skin texture
– although it has alcohol in it, it still felt very moisturizing
– moderately easy to find in store; not all shops stock it though
Cons:
– uses chemical filters so requires application (Octinoxate, Uvinul A Plus, Parsol SLX)
– not water or sweat resistant so not very good for hot, humid summers
– dubious about the anti-aging feature; just felt like an average Japanese sunscreen
– it broke me out although I’m not sensitive to alcohol at all; but it still makes a good body sunscreen
– contains alcohol, TEA, BHT and other irritants which may not be suitable for sensitive skin
