So disappointed with this product. As I’ve aged I’ve moved away from foundation to a lighter BB cream but this powder makes my skin look cakey. I’ve tried to apply it with a brush, beauty blender and the enclosed puff, but every time I end up a cakey mess after about an hour. I was really surprised by the effects as it’s a super fine milled powder and expected good results. In the bin this goes.

I ordered 2 of these off of InnisfreeWorld.com for essentially $7 each (during a buy-one-get-one-free special–these are listed at $14 each), and they’re actually great, long-lasting oil-control setting powders. Upon use they have a slight herbal fragrance but it fades quickly. They have a very sheer, skin-tone tint that evens out foundation, blush, and bronzer and creates a matte finish on the skin that looks like clean, fresh skin, not dried skin like some matte powders set. They control oil for about 8 hours before I see oil finally break through, and luckily it’s not much. It holds up my makeup throughout the whole day.
The compact is a little bulkier than I would prefer; it’s about 0.75 inches thick/the same thickness as the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder compacts. It contains a small mirror and a powder puff that sits on a plastic cover between it and the powder pan. Not sure if the plastic is intended to be tossed but I keep it in for hygienic reasons. The puff is ok and I only use it on the go, so sparingly. Most of the time I apply the powder at home with a powder brush.
For $14 I think this is a little overpriced considering that it does what any good matte, oil-control powder should do, but it does have a soft matte that never looks overdone. Overall it is worth it if you can get it at a discount on their international online shop or on eBay.
