I dig WnW, but this shade didn’t work for me. This is a very bright, Barbie pink. It’s a creamier formula (better formula than What’s Up Doc as well-settled and flaked) than some of their more slippery shades (like Cherry Frost).
However, this one is a bit light/cool for me (pale yellow/olive tones). I also feel that there is a bit of white base in this color as it does settle a smidge in my lip lines.
I’m finding the Silk Finish line to be a bit of a mixed bag for me in terms of formula. It works for my slightly cooler/lighter brown haired daughter. Her lips are younger so she doesn’t have the deeper lines I do. She really likes it.

I concur with the reviewers before me. Everything about this lipstick is fantastic and you can’t beat the price. I applied it full strength then blotted the excess with a kleenex. After about three hours out shopping it hadn’t budged and then I had a bottle of water and a piece of fruit. When I looked in the mirror about an hour later I realized that I no longer had lipstick on, but that my lips were now stained and still highly pigmented with that gorgeous colour… totally unexpected bonus! I usually buy higher end cosmetics, but I am not a snob and am willing to try different things if there is something about them that appeals to me (loved the way 15 Minutes Aflame looked in the tube). This was my first experience with Wet n Wild. Very impressed with the formulation of the lipstick, the way it wears is outstanding and the colour is gorgeous.

Wonderful bright pink! This lipstick wears and wears, does not bleed out into lip lines, and, on me, looks a lot like Nars Schiap! Got this for $.93 at Walmart..$.99 out the door. You cannot beat the price. This was the last one left, so I am guessing many others are finding out about this great summer color. Faint smell, but that fades quickly. Packaging is still not the best, but for this price who can complain? I am going to get another couple of these as soon as I find them. Never used to use WnW, but now I am hooked on several of their products. Their quality seems to keep improving. What an easy and fun way to save money…and get great products!

Nice lipstick I bought one then bought two more it looks similar to MAC’s impassioned and revlon’s love that pink and for 99 cents its a bargain and the packaging is nice too I have also tried A short affair which is similar to MAC’s politely pink and pretty please I wouldnt repurchase that one and Ive tried ready to swoon I dont like that one either its an orangey frost but overall the packaging has upgraded and wnw will always be a favorite of mine.

Wnw revised their 99 cent lipstick line and this is one of the new colors. Packaging is better looking and formula is great.

15 Minutes Aflame is a cream lipstick (no shimmer) that is a bright, mid-toned (almost neon) pink. Some may call it a Barbie pink but when I think of Barbie pink, I think of a light cotton candy pink. 15 Minutes Aflame is a neutral to warm-toned pink which works for my neutral to warm-toned skin. The color is pretty and perfect for spring and summer though I am wearing it in winter.
If you like bright lipsticks, you should try this. If you are wary of bright lipsticks but like pinks and want a pop of color, I encourage you to give this a go, especially because of the cheap price and because you can work with this lipstick to tone it down.
You can layer this lipstick to create an intense, opaque color on your lips as this lipstick applies evenly. This color leaves a stain on your lips by the way. To make it wearable for me, I like to use this lipstick in one of three ways: (1) I first put on lip balm and then apply or pat a thin layer of this lip color on my lips or (2) I apply a nude lipstick first and then apply this lipstick to liven up my lip color, or (3) I apply this lipstick first then apply a layer of the nude lip to tone down the brightness.
Wet n Wild recently repackaged their 99 cent lipsticks from the silvery gray tube to a black tube and this 15 Minutes Aflame came in the new black tube. The plastic cap is clear so you can see the lipstick color. As in the past packaging, the lipstick doesn’t swivel all the way down so you have to be careful about putting back the cap or you can nick the lipstick. I think the new black tube packaging looks better but Wet n Wild change the design of the clear plastic cap so that it has an asymmetrical shape and you need to position the cap in a certain way to close the lipstick tube properly. Aesthetically, the design of the cap seems neat but it’s not particularly functional or convenient.
There is a subtle scent/taste that is not unpleasant.
